Hey everyone, new guy here. I just purchased a home with an oversized detached garage. The previous owner had propane heat in there but took everything and now looking to install before it gets too cold as the first floor has the water tank and a bathroom. The main garage is 28x28 but I have 18' ceilings and the 2 garage doors are approx 12'x8'.
Now as far as the walls, the garage is built into a hiillside so the back wall is all cement. The inside wall is your typical insulated wall and the outside wall is a mix of cement and insulated wall. The bathroom is off the first floor with the water tank and main water lines. Its 12'x5'.
I was told to go with a 75k btu propane heater for quick heating or at least a 60k unit minimum. Dont want to break the bank but willing to consider everything. Want to do this once as I plan to be in the house 10+ years. Thanks
Jake
