Just sold 2 pairs of 9" vintage Vise Grips on ebay. Someone is willing to pay 18 bucks for shipping to Thailand. Wow, at least someone loves quality tools!
I shipped to Australia once and shipping was like $40 on a $100 item. Seller wanted it though. You have to be careful though, as Ebay does not protect a seller if the item does not have a tracking #, and tracking #s are not available for most international shipping. A lot of international transactions end up with the seller getting scammed.

The only explanation I can give you is that you just can't fault folks who know that the quality of the Nebraska-made Vise Grips don't hold a candle to what is coming out of Irwin's Chinese factory(s) now.
I've got an entire drawer of my tool box filled with various models of Vise Grips, and every pair is made by Peterson Manufacturing in Dewitt, Nebraska.
