I'm thinking of getting a side locker and hutch for my Snap-On KRL761 Roll cab. What do you guys use your side lockers for? Any pics would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ed

I put bulky stuff, along with sandpaper cardboard and other supplies. Also put my snacks and breakfast in there.

I just got new boxes with a side locker, I was a little hesitant about spending extra to get it. Now I'm glad I ordered it. I installed an electric outlet in the back of it and now I can charge batteries and cell phones and I also put in a microwave to heat up coffee.

My dad was on a yearlong contract with Batesville Casket - I went out there once for a weekend. Got the whole tour - the breakfast place with the mayor on his Harley, the donut shop with the HS kids and their souped up trucks, the corn, the soybeans, the corn...

Required if you want to understand Footloose or John Mellencamp, I think

I just sold my side locker, I found I just accumulated junk in there :(

This is my worry.

I want the locker to hold stuff that I rarely use that are in molded cases, disposables (rubber gloves, shop towels, etc), and sprays/lubricants. It really would be useful, but at the same time is hard to justify spending the money on.

This is mine. Its a 712 installed on a 761. I keep manuals, some cased tools, spray cans and things like zip ties, tape etc in it. its been pretty convenient.

regguy1- something tells me that when your locker starts to get full you'll be putting the microwave on TOP of the locker. Ask me how I know.

Thanks,

Now that looks like it's being used to it's full potential!

I am sure the Snap-On guys will scoff at me, but I have been thinking a filing cabinet would make a great side locker. Although it is probably not wide enough for your hot pocket warmer.

Just gut the drawers, add in some shelving to desired height, and get a flat piece of steel (for the door) and an a full length hinge and you will be done. You can even reuse the lock if you desire.

I really want to make one for my items in blow molded cases, hammers, power tools, and anything else that eats up too much of my drawer space.

I'd like to have one to put all the bulky special tool cases in as they've claimed a ton of room in my main box. However I'm having trouble stomaching the $2,000 dollar price tag Snappy wants for it.
