Cool!
Hi Matthew, I used the IKEA mounting system. I think it really works good. I hang all the cabinets, bolted them all together and after I was happy with the alignment tighted up the mounting nuts to the railing system.
Cheers
Engelbert

Absolutely stunning work! That overhead storage and cabinets look great together, I am envisioning the same idea for my garage as well (minus the lift and BA rides of course....) At night, do the lights under the overhead storage kick out enough light to be worth it? The seamless design is A+ but do they have the function to match?
Time for an update: A little Thanksgiving project.
Had that fan sitting around. I did not liked ir just silver. Out with the masking tape.

Nice garage!
I work for a big US appliance maker. Just moved out of the cooking division. Did you use engine paint on the stove? The doors can get hotter then you'd expect. If you didn't use engine paint, then you should take care if you run it in self clean.
I was thinking of putting an oven in my to be built garage to bake parts for welding and drying....

Hi Englebert!
I didnt know you were over here too! Your garage is indeed a very nice place, it was great meeting you. I see you are putting the newfound elbowroom to good use, though the garage has lost a considerable amount of its 'rot' in both senses!
To the forum...I bought the red coupe roller in the background of some of the posts last month and had the pleasure of spending a bit of time with Englebert and his wife. The place is VERY nice the two of them are even nicer.
Thanks so much Englebert, and congratulations on a great, individualized place to spend quality time.
