Put a new generator and battery in the Model T.

Once the weather clears up I need to pull it outside so I can give the garage floor a good scrubbing.

Well technically it was was yesterday and not today, but I installed 3 of my 5 Gladiator cabinets I bought on black Friday:

I used 4 bolts and a French cleat with a 2x4:

One up!

They're made in the USA!

All up!

Meanwhile my Camaro got it's first taste of snow...

Just got done installing new front brake pads on my wifes 2009 Toyota sienna van --while still in the long process of setting up my new garage .

Today I finished the drive shaft in the square body. My daughter and I changed the plugs in her Jeep Cherokee. Getting ready to build a few shelves to try and finish the corner of the garage I am working on.

I installed some column covers that I made for my MaxJax. They'll keep dust and dirt out of the greased tracks, not that there ever is a lot of dust and dirt in my garage.

Put my ATV away after a hard ride yesterday. Was caked in snow, needed to warmed and cleaned. Noticed one of the boot clamps broke off, so that will require replacement before the next ride.

Getting ready to mount the new 12 plug receptacle I got at HF yesterday these things are nice. Now I can plug everything in at one spot and get rid of all the cords runnin all over the place. And plug every thing in together in one area woohoo.

changed out a cracked exhaust manifold on my 63 Galaxie conv.

Basically I started to set it up different and clean it out. I moved my workbench and tool boxes to the back of the garage to give me more room on the sides. I also started adding some floor tiles. they're the ones that HF sells 2x2 4 to a pack for 9 bucks. Gonna make it look nicer and keep the floor warmer. Pics are in order from what it was to where it is now (midway). I got rid of a lot of junk, and moved a lot of stuff. Now I gotta get the parts and stuff organized into a cabinet and I can start sorting stuff on the peg board. Hopefully by spring, I'll be able to pull a car in to work on it.

Why do I even leave this place? All roads lead to the Garage Journal. I did some research via ATV forums regarding the right way to replace CV boot clamps. Google brought me here ==> http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57110

Everything I wanted to know but was afraid to ask. Guess the snow and ice build up was bit much. Trip t othe store tomorrow for the clamp and the right tools...now that Mr Moose has schooled me without knowing it!

Yesterday rebuilt the cylinder on my engine hoist, $23 in parts and about 2.5 hrs counting teardown. It was leaking from everywhere it could. No more leaks except the one thing I didn't check the, screw valve. I going to replace it with a handle style anyway.
Today worked on a project with my 4 year old grand daughter. Pics of that when completed coming soon.
Took the rear brakes off the F350 only to find out the two rotors I had were front. So put it back togather and getting rear rotors tommorrow

Went to the Harbor Frieght In Track Club sale and got a roll around tool cart. It has 5 drawers and pretty sturdy for a US General buy. Definitely has more room than a expensive cart. Got it all loaded up with tools most commonly used under the lift. Cant wait to customize it further.

Where did you get the labels for your drawers I need a bunch of those in a bad way so i can organize and remember what is in what box.

Yeah! I cleaned up a little bit. Not much, but it is a little more maneuverable in there. Sooo much more to clean but I'm getting there. Got a plan to clean up the side that has been a mess and put an air compressor there. Eying one at Tractor Supply. Next to it I should be able put my box.

Started working on the doggy palace today, we have limited space on the back porch, so I decided to build a two dog, dog house. We have a Great Dane who's only getting bigger and the Czech shepherd, so the taller wider side will be for Titus the Dane, and the other for Adalai the shepherd. Titus loves laying on top of his house so it will have a mostly flat roof with the step up from the small side to the large. I just finished a fence project and have lots of left over redwood boards, so it will be sided in redwood. Hope to finish tomorrow, I'll post up some more pix when it's done.

Finally got around to cleaning up and organizing the "junk wall" in the garage. Threw out a lot of junk that I'll never use. Got two storage shelving units from my moms house since she is switching everything over to wire shelving.

Last weekend was spend on the Honda VFR750 motorcycle of a friend, one of the pistonrods broke :O and the engine is so messed up it'll be replaced.
I am currently working on getting the old one out (which even involves taking out the singlesided swingarm) and cleaning up all parts that you normally can't reach.

I welded the fender back on my welder. The old weld was weak and I noticed the fender was crooked. When I went to straighten it it came off in my hands. Previous owners weld not mine. Rock solid now. I also bought a bar folder off kijiji. Took it apart and freed up the measuring fingers. Works great now.

This was yesterday, but got under my Jeep and added a high steer kit, new adjustable front track bar and upgraded bolts to grade 8 all around.

Just getting started

Test fitting everything

And everything tore back down getting ready to sand

I will be setting up a temporary paint booth out there today. Hoping to sling paint this evening.
