This is also a few of my projects, a 440-6 pack Cuda vert, shaker hood. 67 Dart post car, my thrasher and a 67 Power wagon short wide 8 lug to match the dart. Had some paint left over.

A FEW MORE. I think after this I will go out, smoke a cigar, have a scotch and look at my ****!!!!! That what makes me happy, turning rusty junk into freshly painted cool stuff.

Thanks for posting up the guages - very impressive collection and my guess is that they are all brass bodies. How were you able to salvage the guages before the ships were scrapped? Which I presume was their final disposition.
Would be fibbing it I tried to lay claim to these. Previous homeowner worked in ship maintenance and assembled that display "from garbage". It really caught my eye and fit in with something I did in a previous life. Last REAL job I had, we rep-ed Marshalltown Gauge, among other manufacturers.
On the final walk around after committing to purchase his house........the PO let them stay as is, for $25.

My brother and I have been collecting valve covers for the past 20+ years. They get blasted and painted the correct color of paint and decals applied if available.
We try to get ones that are embossed with something that identifies the motor/car or just are cool.
