Took my dewalt drill from an earlier post back today because the run out was terrible, actually unacceptable for any new drill, the guy in the shop swapped it for a new one but we tried it at the counter and the new one was exactly the same :0, I immediately told him that I didn't want it, he agreed and give me a refund. I then saw a decent deal on this

I usually steer clear of brands I'm not familiar with but it was £30 cheaper on sale and came with two lithium batteries compared to the one with the dewalt ;) hopefully I'm onto a winner !

Thanks
Jamie

I have a Hitachi cordless impact (normally i prefer Bosch and Milwaukee cordless), but i was pleasantly surprised, i am thinking about getting more of their stuff, the price / quality ratio is right.

Look at the reviews all over the net.....

Went to a tool auction in Wauconda, IL yesterday of a foreign car business which went out of business after the passing of it's long-time owner.. There were some good deals--especially if you are a Snap-On fanatic.. I am NOT able to afford to be such a "fan", but nabbed a few goodies..

Nice SO Metric Impact set, only missing a few sockets..

Some open-end flare wrenches both SO and Mac.

DSC00560_zps11d6b968.jpg

Bunch of long-handle needlenose pliers from Mac and Kal. Also-I've been wanting a nice safety wire plier and found some "familiar" Robinson brand ones which I used in the military. Also some older Mac screwdrivers which need some tips repaired. Couple misc taps and dies, thread files, SO Deadblow Brass faced hammer.

Some BIG Mac and Blue-Point crescent wrenches

I'm not sure what this is... If anyone has any info--

Nice SO 3/8" 100ftlb Torque Wrench.

Awesome--thanks for that info.. And it was bought in a box 'accidentally' when the auctioneer called out the wrong lot number... Not bad for a $35 box of Mityvac's, wrenches, and this cool new tool.. Looks like it was never used!!

if I am going to beat the hell out of something I prefer an estwing, they just don't break. The only way they are damaged is the handle is melted or something. I always used ESTwing at my last job and there is something to be said about a good hammer that wont let you down.

I have a 24oz Estwing claw that ive had some years now, I don't use it much because it rings like a bell when I hit an object :dunno::evil:

Used some free sears money this weekend.

Got this for a fan clutch. Hope it fits in there. Used a $5 reward email.

While picking up the wrench was browsing the close outs and saw this. I foolishly believed it was the 31" as marked. And since I have a 24 and 36" figured its fit in well. For it home and realized it was 24". But I got a free $5 coupon for it taking so long to pick up the wrench. So used it on the pry bar. $13.90 out the door still a decent deal I think.

I've been to different sears at the mall and don't ever see "close out or clearance" items.... Am I just blind or is there an "outlet" store?

I dont think this is a well known tool to the garage journal. Figured I would post a few pictures of it. Took me a minute to figure out how to release the bit once its locked. It comes with the diamond dust bits. They are supposed to resist slipping out, and are more durable than regular bits.

I've never used them as "Seal Removers" which is their intended use, but they are awesome for automotive interior disassembly. I've helped my Snap On guy sell at least six sets to car audio and interior guys. Two just last week!

I don't recall the part number for the set. Individuals are SGSR1A SGSR2A SGSR3A and SGSR4A.

Interesting, they are not on SnapOn's online website no wonder I couldn't find them.

The only Seal Removal Tool set is SGSR104AR, I'm guessing that the green set would be SGSR104AG? Seems that way, I should ask my local Snap On Dealer.

Thanks!

Yeah I forgot to mention they aren't online. They had orange, red, green and yellow on the truck. It's possibly a short time deal, like some of the BOGO items

You just gotta hunt the area out. It's in every store. Trust me.

One of my Sears had Knipex Cobra C'mans on clearance (in the "markdown " yellow sign area) for the small 7" cobra.
For what reason, I do not know.
New in package. A bunch of them.
Normally $26.99 marked down to $18.93 and then 50% off that.

Voila'.
Knipex Cobras for $10.07 w/tax per pair out the door. Made in Germany goodness.
Can't beat that. :)

I gotz one pair. Two I shipped off to GJ guru JeffMoss.

Craftsman Professional hook and pick set. Not sure what took me so long to purchase these as I knew they were solid. They won't be around for much longer.

I've had mine for years and love them. I lost one and haven't been able to find any singles to replace it, so just hoping they'll drop back down to $19.99 again in the near future...
