They have a knock off flexzilla at Harbor Freight now. Florescent green color and all. Price wasn't all that much cheaper than a real flexilla though.

think I paid 60 at napa for the 3/8" line, 50ft

Same company makes garden hose found at Walmart, ironically the garden hose is US made

maybe it was 50, either way the Craftsman POS 26gallon air compressor that I picked up last month is going back(I had spent 2 hours driving/rebuilding the vanes in my impact, then realized the hose was bad/restricted)

China air hose wouldn't deliver to my IR2135, new hose fixed it, but still a bit weak

IR 60 gallon $649 is the replacement

I'll have to stop by TSC, one in New Hartford CT looks decent

Flexzilla is the knockoff. The original and best is still Flexeel from Coilhose Pneumatics. Made in Oregon and New Jersey. Can Legacy Manufacturing the mfg of Flexzilla tell you it is made in the USA?

You sure about that...googled Flexeel and all I got were reinforced Polyurethane hoses...the Flexzilla is not a polyurethane hose...
I do agree...Polyurethane hoses are nice...

I know the Legacy Sales Manager and he used to work for Coilhose. Coilhose dominated the Polyurethane hose market in the late 90's up until the housing crisis. Then Legacy introduced Flexzilla and a bunch of other companies introduced Chinese copies and gained some traction as people were looking for a cheaper version. Flexzilla is a Polyurethane Blend. I believe it is blended with PVC. It is a nice hose and has gained the most on Coilhose. Firebox, Thankfully we all have the choice to buy what works best for them. I just prefer USA made products

I have never thought my 3/8 Flexeel was stiff at all...the opposite, as a matter of fact.

You talking the blue translucent one with the reinforcing braid, or the green one that looks totally different and is apparently called Flexeel Max? I've got the blue kind, and I might as well be trying to coil up PVC pipe. It had the stiffness and memory of 20 year old garden hose, right out of the package.

I think I'm up to 4 Flexzilla hoses at work now, and haven't had a problem with any. I keep meaning to track down the Flexzilla Pro threaded repair kits to keep around just in case, but I haven't found a reason to yet.
