Was just at Lowes...saw on a display an air hose which looked errily identical to a flexzilla...price was good, didnt know if it was a new item and if so or not if anybody had any input on it?
what is flexzilla? why is it special?
think I paid 60 at napa for the 3/8" line, 50ft
Same company makes garden hose found at Walmart, ironically the garden hose is US made
Flexzilla is the knockoff. The original and best is still Flexeel from Coilhose Pneumatics. Made in Oregon and New Jersey. Can Legacy Manufacturing the mfg of Flexzilla tell you it is made in the USA?

I love my Flexeel.

I have one Flexeel I cut up for a project, and I hate it. Mostly because it's insanely stiff, even when it's warm.![]()
I have never thought my 3/8 Flexeel was stiff at all...the opposite, as a matter of fact.

You talking the blue translucent one with the reinforcing braid, or the green one that looks totally different and is apparently called Flexeel Max? I've got the blue kind, and I might as well be trying to coil up PVC pipe. It had the stiffness and memory of 20 year old garden hose, right out of the package.
I think I'm up to 4 Flexzilla hoses at work now, and haven't had a problem with any. I keep meaning to track down the Flexzilla Pro threaded repair kits to keep around just in case, but I haven't found a reason to yet.![]()
