Got my sample of the Ulti-MATE Starfire white drawer face with pull, wow, more metallic than I thought it was going to have. It is super nice, and has a lacquer finish so it's really slick looking, more contemporary than the raised panel cabinets I have, but I have no problem mixing two styles. Should blend in with the Vipers well, although the metallic on the Viper boxes is very subtle.
Was thinking of adding some base cabinets with a dark grey/black solid surface or granite top under the single 54" wall cabinets for more storage for my wife, our kitchen is so small.
So I updated my renderings to give myself a better idea of the final layout and which sized cabinets I need to purchase for the other side of the garage. I will replace the round knobs with those long bar pulls like on the Ulti-MATE sample I got but in black.
The only thing I was struggling with was where to buy the white cabinets from, Home Cheapo or Blowes.
The HCHeapo white cabinets seem to have the same exact raised panel look as the existing cabinets, but inside they're that light faux wood color, the existing cabinets are white throughout so the insides won't match. They have thicker backing which should work fine with those cabinet screws I got. The good thing is they the fronts can be screwed together, unlike the existing which cannot without adding some extra wood on the inside.
The white cabinets from Blowes are all white throughout, but the raised panel on them has a inner radius on the corner of the raised panel, which is slightly different from the existing raised panels which have sharp corners, so visually they won't match on the outside. The backing is flimsy and they're like the existing with an extra 1x4 piece of wood top and bottom of the inside to screw into.
Lowes cabinets with radius on inside raised panel I'm not crazy about, they wouldn;'t be a good match
