Not to get off the subject, but is that an American Eskimo? I have an 8 year old, he loves hanging out in or near the garage, in the shade and breeze, while I tinker away on cars and motorcycles!! He is my workshop companion, and never complains that I am working in the garage too late and to come to bed like the wife!!!
Is that a Vega?
Hi! Nice shop, I like all the space and outlets you have. I was just wondering in the above pic if that's the framing above your garage door? It looks like your door header is just two 2x6's or something? Or is this picture rotated? Where's the header beam?

If you check the pictures earlier in the thread, posts # 22 & 23, you can see that the header is buried up higher in the ceiling and the door is framed down. It looks like it was done that way so the trusses sat directly on the header.
People say that I have too many outlets! I have a duplex every four foot around the perimeter of both the upstairs and downstairs shop. But quads bottom, middle, and top that often? What the heck do you plan to plug into the quads up top that you need so many of them?
....and yes, there are a lot of outlets before anyone comments.![]()

Marc, are the bends on the door track manufactured? If so, by who? I am trying to do a similar thing with a 7 ft door to a 9 1/2 ft ceiling and am about to fabricate my own bends using old track sections.
That's a nice garage, but where will you plug stuff in?
Where's pics of loft?
More outlets than my house, garage, and probably two neighbors houses put together
And I ran my outlets every 6' in both the house garage and my garage.Yeah, we've pretty well established there are lots of outlets.
