here is what we have been working on the last month working round the clock to get this car back on the road for a super awsome show called back to the fifties in st. paul mn. changing out the wiring harness that I paid someone to install in the first place and it was just a nightmare ripped it all out and started over again with a new wiring harness from a company called Ron francis wire works. just awsome quality and a new dash look from Dakota digital.

here is the start of the snowball at the top of the hill.

decided that black would match the final paint better so the goal was to give it a satin finish and flat on the top so less glare on the window. mixed up some flatting additive for the clear and it turned out great till the last coat I really laid it on and wtf. it turned out glossy as could be:headscrat half of the parts turned out flat half turned out glossy mixed at the tame time same batch of clear??????????????:headscrat ended up wet sanding it with 800 grit and left it at that.

that is the whole idea here as well all of this is coming out as well. ***** doing it twice however leaves less paint touch up after from dropping tools and drilling holes in fresh paint.Still the best part is to get my son involved NOTHING BETTER!

Nice brakes Eric! My XLR-V has them too ... you'll love them ... except the cost of pads down the road :( Cheers, Bill
yea found out about the pad thing already found a place called r1concepts that had pretty good prices .hope everything is going good with you!
you got for what you paid ... finally
I guess I have no idea what you mean on this one? it is stuff like this is why I like to do everything myself every time I hire out I get ffed and I have to do it myself anyways.

That is the best thing about this car the paint and body just stinks that is why I had everyone sign it with sharpie it feels so good to not have to stress about the paint job. of coarse that will change once i do the paint and body on this one .

lol. it really feels great to get out and really start tapping in to the capabilitys of the car the whole idea was to have something the whole family could drive across the country in comfort and get decent milage and have enough power to compete and so far I am more than impressed with turbo technolgy! I am working on the videos from the weekend so stay tuned for more!

come on now you should know me better than that by now.
build the hidden hitch system a couple of years ago the plate is hinged and I just glued a couple magnets on the plate to hold it up and to hold it open.
the reciever just pins in the trunk.

Well, I see new light bulb sockets in the background so I'll have to say...

A four-headed pressure washer? :)

(I'm sure it will be something really cool)
