There is another model with brass ends on it that I am thinking about buying...
Max of 50' long from what I read, and that should be fine for my needs.

I have three -- All trouble free so far - I have a faucet connection protection spring on mine to keep the pressure off the connection. High pressure use (pressure washer) not recommended - it will burst as my neighbor who did not read the instructions found out. I would prefer brass fittings.

I bought one for my front yard garden and I think it lasted two weeks. The first failure was the on/off valve, that was easy enough to remove and throw away. About a week later it sprang a leak in the rubber hose with no visible signs of damage to the outer sleeve. It was near the end so I cut it off and rigged a new hose end on to it, that held fine but it kept getting holes in the inner rubber (or maybe it's silicone) hose. After a few repairs I just tossed it.

The guy next door just bought one and I wished him luck and told him to keep the receipt.

They might be junk but they are making a fortune. I walk my dog around the block and I can't believe how many people have these things hanging by their faucets and such. I would say easily 4 out of 5 houses have one that I can see...

Someone is laughing all the way to the bank...

I wish they were worth a ****, I want one so when I have to fill the pool up I don't have to drag the heavy house around. It would be so much easier.

It's like most things - you have to consider what you're using it for. Is this a replacement for the hoses you leave hooked up to the side/back of your house...NO.

Yes, they are cheaply made and far from heavy duty. For my personal use, I got a 50' one for hosing out the garage. It is perfect for that. I don't have to leave out or drag out a heavy hose when I want to wash the floor, and the hose takes up minimal space to store.

I haven't tried it yet for washing the car, but that'll be my next test.

I picked up mine at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and used a $5 off coupon. I kept my receipt in the event it fails on me. That way I can walk into the store and take care of things rather than jack around with the "special TV offer" people that could care less.

Make a product that you can sell for 3 times more than it cost you to make.
Even if it is a crappy product that 50% of the people who buy one return it.

The other 50% of the people just ***** to themselves and throw the product in the trash. Todays disposable society type thing.

You have still made a bunch of money. :rocker:
Yes, the candle will burn out once everybody knows it's a piece of junk (just like a fad item) BUT it's hot while it's burning!

I know a couple of people who got the hoses and the cheap plastic fittings leaked badly at the faucet, then when you tried to tighten them the fittings came apart after a week or so - the brass fittings might work OK.

If you are going to play with the "pocket hose" just don't do it in public

Is this the same one they advertise that it coils itself back up?

If the way they show it on TV works- it should be OK. But, seeing as though I already have about 350 feet of hose in my yard, I don't think I'll be buying one of those anytime soon.

I know most of you are saying this product is trash and I'm sure it is, for most applications. But I have one that I cut in half and re-attached the end pieces. I use it outside of my small 1 car garage to wash my motorcycle all the time. It is awesome for what I need.

Don't get me wrong, it's cheaply made and I'd never use it for a real hose. I needed a lightweight hose that I could hang in the garage and not need any kind of real pressure from. It's awesome for that.

I have the 50ft model with the plastic ends. I love it. It's fantastic especially for the boat because it doesn't leave the sticky residue. Only problem is that fabric by the ends starts to fray and split. Otherwise it's great!

I have 2 of them, one for washing cars and one for watering plants on the front porch,,they seem to be ok for this type of use , I still have the reals hoses close by.

The on/off valve was defective on one of them and it leaks, seems like nothing will make it stop leaking except the original on/off valve,,

Keep them out of the sun ,, the nylon sleeve will rot quick.

Beware when you unscrew the end as they squirt a stead stream of water for a couple seconds, enough to soak your shoes etc.

These have been available for RV use for years- though they are much more expensive. But then everything for an RV is more expensive, however they actually work.

Can't believe all the people here that actually bought that ****.

It's not hard to pull out a hose and roll it up when you're done with it.

Betcha never thought you'd be categorized as a HATER didja? :lol_hitti

It's more about the space it takes to store than it is about the PIA it is to try and roll up a hose that just doesn't want to coil properly for you..
In my case - I wanted a 25' hose that my wife could use out on the deck to water her wee___ errr FLOWER pots and store it in a small container on the deck rather than having to drag it out from the garage every day..

We have a couple of these and they are still working OK. We had one of the valves break but you can toss that part. We use them to water the flower beds on our acreage. We bought two at bath and beyond and the rest from Regal.

Girlfriend bought two since my 100ft NeverKink was "too heavy". Both broke in less than a week. Might get her the pro version since it has a "lifetime" guarantee.

I can only speak for the ones that are sold by Walmart. Last week I was returning an old ATV battery to get the core credit and the guy in front of me was returning 2 of those hoses because they broke on the ends where the plastic fittings attach to the rubber hose. He told the kid behind the counter he just wanted his money back & the kid replied "I don't blame you, we get around 10 of them a day returned for the same problem".. Why they don't just pull them off the shelves is beyond me but I suppose they count on some folks just throwing them away without asking for a refund. Total garbage.

I was really hoping these things worked. I thought it would be nice to be able to store it in the planter pot next to the little garage. So, I bought one. It lasted through about two car washes and now leaks like a fart in a fat girl's ***** hose. PURE JUNK! And were on a low pressure well too! It's not a fitting leak. It sprays through the covering like trying to haul water in a sock.

I'm going to try Flexilla Hose next.

I did a lot of research before I bought a garden hose. I ended up with a Flexzilla. It works pretty well and is kink resistant, but not life changing.

We have two of the brass versions. One started leaking after about a month. Lifetime warranty, so Wife called them and they said they will sned a replacement right out. Throw the bad one in the trash please.

Still waiting for the replacement after 3 weeks.

(I told her they were a waste of money, she is PO'd that I was right!)

I have one in the camper. Love it. light and easy to store. Has 3 of them for the garage, they do not like gas, spilled some on one hose and it fell apart. I still like them, hate the big heavy hoses. I just wish they put a few more $ into it, great idea though.

The regular pocket hose is trash imho, last summer half of what was sold at work were returned, the cheap plastic fittings would leak and break. This year we got in a new pocket hose (xl if my memory serves), but I'm not holding my breath about it.
