I am going to be away working for the next 5 or 6 weeks so I never planned on going out this morning, but I just checked the tools on Cl and a new ad popped up for a tool sale. It was a garage sale but newly advertised under tools to attract more customers. And it was close by.
So I arrived a few minutes later and it was a little old lady selling out to move . And a friend of mine was helping her.
Good and bad there. So I went in the garage and started looking but a couple of Mexicans had already tagged the first toolbox I saw. Damn I thought. Too late. As it happens they were real good guys with little money and just wanted tools to maintain their Lawn business equipment. They only bought what they needed, and I cannot begrudge them that. My intentions were not as pure. So I bought a box of Wrenches and sockets. What to offer. The seller had no clue, nor did my friend. BUT.... Any way I offered $100. I could have gone half of that. She said $75 and the friend jumped in and so it was $100, but she threw in a Hot air gun. Here is my catch of the day.
SO OEK 44, 46 & 48 Wrenches. They should pay for the day. A few SK Williams, Crafty and various other wrenches. Armstrong Armaloy wrenches. Value anyone? To be continued.

a SO Ign Wrench, a wad of keys, what I believe to be a piece of advertising hardware in the US Pipe & Fdry piece, a gearmotor gear, and an extension (No name or # anywhere...).

Have at it!
