Nothing special to show. Four small clamps, Peterson Vise Grips, 9 inch Auto adjustable wrench, 9" Ridgid pipe wrench, and a stapler for the wife (since she keeps taking mine). $5 for all.

I always wanted a decent size anvil. Here's one from an estate sale this morning. The surface is nearly pefect. Anyone hear of Trexton?? She weighs in at about 170lbs. This is not even close to being a "you ****" deal. (I paid dearly @ $2.50/lb but if I didn't someone else was right behind me).

All full and all from the Free pile (at moving sales they'd rather give this stuff away then take it to hazardous waste recycling)

I bought this only for the pedestal for another project ($10). If anyone wants the block grinder just PM me. It'll be cheap.

I would love to find a large anvil but they go for $4-6 lb around here, beat the hell up...
Thanks bluebolt, but you should know I rarely buy reasonable. It's gotta be a steal for me to consider it, I'm SUPERTIGHT!![]()
I'm down to swap, keep an eye on my finds for something(s) you like! I already sold the 6" Craftsman that I picked up last but I'm always on the hunt!![]()
Do you keep a 1" steel ball bearing in your pocket to do a drop test on an anvil if you find one LOL? I just did a drop test on mine and it scored a rather impressive 85%.
I see them come up on CL for outrageous prices occasionally but rarely waste my time emailing them with a low ball offer. I will bring one if I'm ever serious about spending though
I hit a few garage sales today that said they had tools. Nothing in tools but lots of nic - nac stuff. I went to my favorite pawn shop and got this whole pile and a crown top tool box for $20. Most all of it craftsman, a few snap-on sockets and a channellocks, a clamp -on vise and a Snap-on m-71 1/2" ratchet. 4" crescent, 1/4" v code ratchet. A broken SK ratchet, I need to find a parts kit for it. Etc.
A good haul!
John
That's a good haul indeed! Wonder why they let such go so cheaply. Pawn shops in my area would easily charge $100+ for that much, hence why they have tons and tons of it never moving and they can't figure out why.

I sell that Titan at work, my go to with a 8mm socket for doing battery swaps. Been holding up well so far.

I scored this Beach top and bottom tool chest combo for 120$. How do you think i did. Its in amazing condition. Got both keys as well
Out of curiosity are you in the sates or Canada? Just curious, doesn't seem like you see a ton of Beach stuff over here in the midwest US.I scored this Beach top and bottom tool chest combo for 120$. How do you think i did. Its in amazing condition. Got both keys as well
