Looks like some really nice stuff. I would like to talk with the PO, I wonder what he or she made with them.

PO was an inventor with IBM who turned 90 in June. He held the patent for the barcode and 31 other inventions including digital to analog converters,

To say that the estate sale was mindblowing was an understatement. There was easily $1M in inventory being sold. From several mcintosh tube amps to over 100 high quality camera lenses to various electronics.

To put things in perspective he had a 20x20 dedicated shop with very nice tools (mills, etc), a darkroom, private movie theater, private screening room, a static free electronics room and a collectible room where he housed >100 lithographs, movie reels, etc.

right, no way it's a deal, I think kennedy is over rated.

I'd have to respectfully disagree. I think most kennedy stuff is underrated. They seem to have the aboslute lowest resale value (% of new) compared to any other tool box out there on the used market. I have a few and personally I think they make some of, if not the best friction slides out there.

Those side boxes are a bit of a mystery. Do I think it is worth $40? F&*@ NO :lol_hitti, If I found one for $20 or under, yea I might try it. Since they don't come up too often I just thought I would put it out there for someone that may have been searching for it.

Did you walk away with anything? The mill/drill press? Did they explain why they revised the ad numerous times to increase the price?

Wow! I live only 10 minutes away but was out of town this weekend. It did look special.

I agree, Kennedy makes quality tool storage units and you can get screaming used bargains on them more often than any other name brand. The posting listed above for $40...yeah, that doesn't look like a super-duper deal but I'll bet it's fully functional.

I have some of the Kennedy 520 machinist chests and a four drawer roller cabinet, all used, all working like new. Their slides are among the best.

Haven't decided if these are going in the shop or the basement but couldn't pass up the deal

all 3 for $30, they are old from a local warehouse, I did have to supply my own ladder and take them down.

I just Bought 25 sections of 4x8 Copperwood fencing from Ozark Timber in the French Gothic style. Great Stuff, Heavy due to 5/8" slats.
Come with a 25 year warranty...23 years left on it.
All for $600

The Seller rescues Dogs and one almost got over the 4 foot fence, so he is replacing it all with 6 foot fencing.

I have the same style along the back of my property, but Chain Link along the North side (always hated that) and Nothing along my Driveway.
Plus I own 8 extra feet Past the Chain link side, so I need to move the fence anyway.

Great Deal on something that someone else Paid $8100 to install.
(of course he kept the posts and is reattaching to them, I need to buy post and rent equipment to dig my new holes)
