I really like the look of that drill press. I have a bigger one, but mine is not that cool looking.
Sackohammer, looks like we got the same SK machinist box maybe!
Rockwell DP went for $125 and a 7" Rockwell Grinder(single phase) that went for $175

That Tomahawk looks like someone took a grinder to a rigbuilder hatchet, imo.

I had a feeling it could be a toy because of the handle. They made quality toys 60 years ago. Better made than some new hammers.Mattblast and Outlaw,
That oddball bp hammer with the red handle and black head is a child's toy. It must be close to 60 years old. Reason is, I have that hammer hanging on the tool rack in the basement and I got it as a kid with a small toy where you hit round pegs into round holes and square ones into square holes. I unfortunately would try to hit the square pegs into the round holes, but that's another story.
I believe the silver on the peen end is just some silver paint. I kept the little hammer cause it works well for hitting delicate things I want to bend a little without marring them. And it has stood the test of time. I always thought I'd have to epoxe the head to the handle, but that hasn't happened yet. Nice find! BTW.

And here are a couple things I didn't get outbid on!!
and this Atlas Horizontal Mill for $350

^^^Nice finds!! You guys did a whole lot better then me!!

[/QUOTE]It must be SK machinist box season...gave $15 for this one.
You're not kidding. That looks really nice for $15
Do those have drawer slides on them? External dimensions?^^^Nice finds!! You guys did a whole lot better then me!!
All I found were these 4 items at $1/ea. The Kett shears have the middle blade broken. (I don't know if it's worth the $20 for a new blade.).
The monkey wrench is from Erie Tool Works. The seller found it on the side of the road.

That's a nice little mill looks like you got a few goodies with it too.

Great finds guys!
Mattblast and nine4gmc, nice padlocks!!

I just bought the same grinder with pedestal for 125.
I would have bought that 10" grinder at 125 for the base!
*SNIP*
A nearly-new SK DBE set in its roll and a set of SK SAE hex bit sockets.
Nice set!!9Four, that Horizontal mill is either an Atlas, or an Atlas built Craftsman. Great find and price! you even appear to have all the "Hard parts" like the power feed and the support bar! Excellent!
I have about 2/3 of one of those. I started with the XYZ table part more than 30 yer ago got that part straightened away for any issues with the intent to make up a Vertical mill head for it. then about 9-10 years ago I got a bunch of the upper castings and parts, but not all. maybe someday...

Great stuff. Really good deal on that Atlas mill, they are very popular, especially with hobby/model makers. But dang Nine, you couldn't even give us a smile?
P.S. The person that bought that Rockwell DP for $125, either knew what they were doing or got extremely lucky. That foot feed is highly sought after by some.

Man! That is a quality find. And you got all of the accessories too? That makes up for the vice incident you just had in my opinion. That has some suckage factor going for it.

Super thanks! I have been checking them(Atlas Mill) out over at hobby-machinist, where I get info for my Craftsman Lathe. There are a couple guys working on them, I have been drooling ever since I saw the style and footprint. This will fit my shop much better than the Cincinnati vertical I got in Feb. and that machine had limitations too, for being so big. When I saw the Atlas this morning, I went through all the emotions. Happy, sad, anxious, depressed, mad, sick to my stomach. Glad it's all over now! This one has several ATLAS emblems on it, I didn't see any Craftsman but it's still wrapped up. Make a list of parts you need and I will keep an eye out. I downloaded the manual over at OWWM.
Super thanks man, IDK what accessories yet, and definitely only that one cutter. I'm hoping there are more things in the box.
I tried out yahoo lathe group but could not get passed the poor layout of the site so I gave up. it literally hurts my head to navigate there. They need to try some vBulletin software...
Crazy coincidence. Obviously the PO didn't think it was worth it, so in the trash it went.
Note it was pretty rust, pic is after clean up. It is still tight and works smooth. I need to work the edge over as it looks like someone tried to sharpen it on their driveway.
It is kinda a neat knife. The "other" blade actually locks like a liner lock knife would via a brass strip down the middle of the knife.
I know, it was almost like. "Well I have to get all this home somehow.
Either a cardboard box or this Craftsman tool box. I guess I will take the tool box.
I bet they even felt sorry for him and gave him a deal on the box.
?..... Why do they call it an electricians knife?O excuse me a "Professional" electricians knife? I'm not a professional electrician, am I qualified to use it?

Me thinks you should have bought all 8.

Holy **** CTY, those are what? 14" opening? I passed on a couple of 12" clamps yesterday, because for their size. they were the most flimsy clamps I'd ever seen. THOSE I would have bought in a heartbeat! (I also passed on a Kennedy 520 for $5, but that was because it was thrashed, and I haven't filled the ones I have, yet...)
And dang, 11/16 square. Not sure that one has ever some up for me in use, but I have one in either Proto or Plvmb...![]()
