What's the 25% off coupon code for the new site?

I accidently deleted it from my email.

seems temporary, if you try to buy something or click on the cart link it redirects you to the new site.

I put something in the cart and proceeded to check out.

I didn't get redirected at all. Everything's the same. :dunno:

I emailed them about the COO thing too. I don't like how Starrett does it. I would rather them be up front about it. Its like they are hiding something when they don't post the COO.

I can assure you it was very intentional that it was omitted from the update. Its the ratchets and pliers all over again.

I bet I can guess their reply. "We here at Snap-On feel that since we're a global company COO should not be used to judge quality when everything we brand Snap-On is of the highest quality".

Too bad they don't seem to understand some customers just don't want to support Asia when there are domestic alternatives, especially with the prices they ask for.
Yes.
They actually said something like that.
The reason why this has been taken away is because Snap-on is trying to be seen as more of a worldwide company. All hand tools will continue to be made in the United States no matter what the circumstances.
I am confused since in another email they send me good news.

Thank you for your feedback.

Country Of Origin will be added to the Product details page by next week.

Regards,

Snap-on Store

For some reason store.snapon.com is a different site.

I've just looked on that site. Awful on an ipad. You can't scroll up and down or zoom in. If that's progress, they can keep it

Yes I have a kindle fire and I noticed you cannot scroll. It also takes forever to load. Might just not like tablets.

Now you will pay $900 for a set of metric wrenches. yahoo. Of course, you will get a free lime green magnet to go with it.

what a surprise, when you select the UK it takes you straight back to the same UK website which is just a partial online catalogue, no new products, parts catalogues and no merchandise at all. Thanks Snap-on. I've emailed them, but I won't hold my breath, I have never received a single reply from them.

The new site is so ******* bad you can't even use it. The parts catalog is gone, navigation through the site *****, it dead ends. There are things that aren't listed anymore but if you type in the number it shows up. They must of hired the Obama care website people.....or the people who did the Apple ios7.0 software.

Just went on there and thought it was nice until I tried to use it, and yes I'm on my iPad too and it's not very friendly.i hate to jump on the bashing train but this is not an improvement.

What's funny is if you go to Harbor Freight's website and double click on a picture of a tool, they give you a big beautiful high definition picture to look at.

I logged in this morning and found my wish list had been deleted. Now I'm even more pissed. If a 25% coupon exists, it's useless if the website don't work.

I tried using the site earlier, and I can say I'm not a fan. It does seem more searchable, but the layout and organization takes me twice as long as before. Maybe that's just because I'm quite used to the old site.

I could care less about SO website, but with all the bitching I had to check it out. I will agree the site *****. Then I see they reintroduced the kra60, damn it, I didn't need to know that!

Holy cow! I just went to price check a ratchet I was looking at on CL and came up with the new side. This used to take less than 30 sec to find what I was looking for on their old website. The search on the old version blew because you had to search for the exact name with no mis-spellings. The new search couldn't even come up with a 1/4" ratchet without showing me every single item they have for sale. The grid layout and top bar thing are ****. I am pissed! I buy a lot of SO, and like being able to quickly look up products sorted by drive size. Something better change quick! Sorry for the rant.

I don't know if they thought this was better but it's not. As said above the slide bar thing or whatever it is *****. The sight is basically un-usable on a phone or tablet. Good thing I have a paper catalog. Cornwells is now the easiest to use out of the trucks.

I check out their new website and it ****. The old website show a picture of the part list so you know what you are ordering. The new website no longer has a part list picture. Finding tools are so difficult now. I also decide to check out Proto site. It seem like they also updated their website and it just **** big time. They have no description at all of the tools. Most just has a part number and you have to click on "BUY NOW" to get a short description. Why can they just copy HF website.
