I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!

OK, sorry......

I'd love a tool with a story! Got a hammer you used to fix the windshield on your Chevette? Great!

How about a cool wood box with Sohio on it?

Maybe a wrench out of your pit tools for the super modifieds?

Bonus points for space or aviation related!

Heck a cool 2014 calendar for the rocket shop would be great also.

I'm expecting brand new SO and lots of it!

In reality I'm with Woodrail (see post above), and if your area is famous for smoke wood honey, that sounds great. Was this year's black walnuts good? A few of those would be nice. I'm not picky, and feel a little guilty asking for something.

I like anything that's old and interesting but lately I have been enjoying machinist tools of all kinds because I am slowly filling a machinist box i got from a old school machinist who bought the box new back in 1946. The mechanics tools I collect are mainly Blackhawk from the 1950s and earlier. And I like old books and magazines tool and non tool related. To be completely honest though what ever you want to send I'm sure I can find a interest and use for it. And for non tool related hobbies I am a avid bowler and bowl 2-3 nights a week.

I am a mustang nut
I like lionel trains
Woodworking
Metal working ( machine work and sheet metal work)
Working on my vintage cars
Of course I am a tool nut....

What I would like is a lift, 4 post or 2 post I am not picky....if you have the money that is...
If you are really rich then how about a CNC milling machine.....

And for the rest of you that don't have really deep pockets......I am appreciative of anything I get...
Of course bonus points if it fits into one of my like categories.

My hint list, and staying (mostly) with tool themes:

Tiny tools (see thread)
Old tools (Plvmb, Pexto, Long C Craftsman, Old SO/Bluepoint or other named brands)
Different/unusual hammers (See thread)
Interesting things that can be made into something (else).
Old bone/stag handle Solengen knives/hatchets
Old Timer/Schrade knives (before they went import)
Old (Particularly unusual) camping widgets
Really strange adjustable wrenches.

Or just surprise me with something really different! Last year's SS did a great job! :D

I realize that I might be one of the more difficult people to shop for, sorry about that. On the bright side, it is extremely difficult to disappoint me. =)

I too like tools with a story. Unique vintage tools, machinist tools, oddball tools, tools from US or European brands I might not be familiar with, EDC (everyday carry) items, etc.

I am into robotics, electronics, science (mainly physicsy things), minerals, fossils, engineering, things like that.

P.S. I turned 30 this year, in case that helps.

Turquoise blue is my favorite color (e.g.), followed by burnt orange, and then gunmetal.

I am like many already who don't like posting items or a "wish list". But, since many of my posts are related to vise restoration, I don't have much in relation that will be of help. So, if someone is lucky to get my name and you see this, I would be happy with really anything. Any channellock tool would be sweet. I am always up for cool bottle openers; my go to is my craftsman handled opener. Really anything is more than enough though, this is just a fun thing to do.

I also have a pretty broad spectrum of "stuff" I like, but I will narrow it down for the Secret Santa that wants to go the extra mile in picking the right gift.

Anything that is for/from/references/talks about/shows pics of vintage 4x4's. This encompasses the Toyota Landcruiser (any model, but I love the FJ45 SWB and am currently restoring a 1972 FJ40), Toyota pickup and 4Runner (1st and 2nd gens including trekkers)early ford Bronco 66-77, International Scout, Unimog and Nissan Patrols. I apologize to any Jeep enthusiasts, but not too into them.

Cornwell and Plomb tools always make me giggle when I see them.

Leverlock knives are my new passion. The older the better.

............or whatever you can give. To me, this is more about what I'm gonna give my guy than what I get (to a degree:pimpflash).

I'm interested in:

-Delta drill press three-handle lever w/ hub for 1.25" shaft (because everyone has an extra one of these laying around)
-Old cymbals (for drum set)
-Assisted open and auto knives
-Old light sockets
-Old industrial lights and lamps

About me: work ems. I'm getting into more specialized tools as I have all the basics but could always use anything. I defiantly lean towards the auto/metal working side but have done wood too. I'll work on anything and can generally fix it just with more time and not accomplished in a straight line. More of a roundabout way. I enjoy mountain biking when I'm free

I'm not picky. Just getting a gift at all is appreciated. I work title/escrow M-F. I work as an operator at a local CNC shop 3 nights a week. I repair/maintain my vehicles and others' on the weekends and do basically any repairs needed. Plumbing, construction, landscape, heavy equipment, whatever will pick up a few bucks.

I won't give a wanted list to allow more creativity for the giver... but here are some general interests.

Plomb
Craftsman =V= metrics
Ford
Downhill Mountain biking
Made in USA
Been looking for a Made in USA/tool related bottle opener recently

Anything old really!

Well I'm in the process of converting my tools to Snap-On, and keeping the Craftsman for the house, but channellock pliers are always good.

Vintage tools with a cool story are always good!

I'm closing on an off-site garage tomorrow (see sig).

Into Jaguar, Porsche, Harley, and Ford-Truck stuff. I don't own a Mack truck but they make my direct deposits and I always like Mack stuff.

Anything with a racing history would be cool (my family runs SCCA Improved Touring, but we live in Nascar country)

Non auto related, I'm into almost anything mechanical including but not limited to
mechanical movement watches
guns (Colt, Browning, Springfield Armory are among my favorites)

Huge Johnny Cash fan

First year as well....

Something personal please? May I suggest:

Anything from your respective job, industry
Old road maps of your respective area
Local stickers (radio stations, restaurants, amusement parks etc.)

I am blessed, so anything you can think of will work. Thank you in advance.

Secret Santa has always been excellent to me.

But, for anyone that wants some hints............

Bottle openers with the screwdriver-type handles. I've got a couple Craftsman openers now and would like to expand my collection.

Otherwise, maybe a European tool. New or used is fine.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

First of all I would like to be a secret Santa, but if I have to be a recipient I am into machine work as a hobby. I need tooling for a 13" south bend lathe and a small mill/drill. Any type of measuring tool would be nice. Any type of garage art depicting old Ford trucks, gas stations or airplanes.

Hmmm, not exactly sure....

But if I had to nail down SOMETHING, it'd be this:

Anything S-K, I don't really care if it is used or new. Used is absolutely fine with me.
I could really go for ANY 1/2 drive S-K sockets or older style S-K RP wrenches.

I'm also a big fan of any older US made speeders. Funny thing is that I don't hardly use them, just collect 'em.

Thanks in advance, anything is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use. Plus, I guarantee it won't be melted down into a Chinese toaster (For at least another 60 or so years).

Kind of hate to make it too easy, so feel free to come up with something else.

I like:

- Quality beer
- Quality tools
- Old Chevys and Datsuns (yeah, odd mix... I blame an old Nissan truck I got for free)
- I have been thinking of getting a motorcycle of some sort.
- I have been thinking of getting a small metal lathe. Maybe something for that, or a book or something?

On my wishlist for purchase after the holidays:

- A set of SK 1/4" locking extensions
- 1/4" SK thumbwheel ratchet
- ~6" Knipex needle nose pliers

I'm in the not too sure category. Pretty much anything cool.

Stickers/decals (automotive, tool manufacturers, local shops)
Vintage Auto Emblems (VW, Chevy, GMC, Heavy truck stuff too!)
Old tools (Craftsman, SK, Snap On, Mac, Proto, Armstrong, etc.)
Banners (automotive, tool manufacturers, aftermarket parts manufacturers)
Metal Signs (same pattern as above)
Maybe a spare engine or parts for my bike? 1981 Yamaha XS400

Stuff I'm saving up for:
new or used metric Snap On Wrench set (thinking about finally using my snap on SEP)
maybe some German pliers or screwdrivers

Just a snap shot but anything will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

I'm just an old hippie born to late, old surfer born to far inland and old country plowboy. I really dig my old VW's and surfing. I love my old guitars but don't take enough time to play much anymore.

Tools, yeah I've got 40 years worth of them but can always use more. I am finishing up a new 30x30 shop that I have no clue what I'm going to do with it other than store stuff in it. I work in the security industry as a private contractor so tacticool stuff is fun to me. We hunt and fish every chance we get and take a lot of pride in eating everything we kill. I'm not a doomsday prepper, but I think they have a lot of good ideas and theories and would love to learn more about living off the grid.

I know that's not a lot, but it's a little insight into what goes on inside my mixed up, crazy head and hope it helps.

I like everything... But I am getting more into finish wood working, and want to learn to operate machine tools... Books would be good, or wood working tools. I like old planes and such. But really I can't think of much I need.

Wait clamps.. Need more clamps

I love anything Craftsman Professional/Industrial, Xbox (have 360, One on the way), guns, knives, Knipex, Channellock. I have mostly everything I "need" but would like US deep impacts, 1/4" Craftsman pro ratchet, pretty much anything quality. I also have a love of customizing (94 Ranger in profile pic has been there for me for 13+ years).

First year as well here, but had lots of fun on another site.

Other than a decent set of drill bits (that fit an impact driver) I've got just about all that I need. Well, maybe a DVD of the movie 'Grand Prix'....

I've been donating lately to "Team Jenny-Cystic Fibrous Foundation." A good friends daughter has CF so when I have parts to sell etc. I just ask the buyer for a check made out to "Team Jenny-Cystic Fibrous Foundation", send them the part and have them mail the check to me. I forward it on and usually send one of mine in a matching amount.

Still have a hard on for anything Orange Snap On, however I'm open to the blues/pinks, really anything that's cool and or unique. Love ratchets and beer. Again in the spirit of giving, I will enjoy whatever is given to me. I've already picked out some items to use on this year's SS along with a couple of items in the event that someone backs out.

I'm pretty easy going. Search my posts for some pretty good ideas. I like Felo (need a set of squares and shorty's), I like SO and strange SO items, Kreg clamps and screws. I like Legos, I need some stuff to finish the walls of my garage, LED lights, reloading (new, old, boxes of old ammo, just about anything to do with with guns) I'd like to checkout one of those new GW gimbal ratchets, impact #2 phillips bits, old iron and steel, any kind of hardwood... or just something that you think is pretty cool.

If you have 'em and care to spare 'em, Red SO hard handle anything! Thanks, and Gig 'em!

I have been into the husky stuff lately, but love those wanna be snap on screwdrivers that HF has on sale now. Like the vintage stuff also and I am a mopar fanatic. Sort of the mopar or no car mantallity. Hold it against me if you must lol. I restore old chrysler and collect pocket knives also. But as the others have said I to am pretty open. So give about anything a whirl.

I'm pretty easy and will be happy with anything I get. As always!

I'm a VW and Porsche owner.
Really need Vice-grip 8R (or whatever teh current # is) duck bills as my buddies seem to keep taking mine. :)
ChannelLocks, combo wrenches larger than 19mm and really most any tool.
If ur on a budget the small Pony Mfgr. spring clamps I can ALWAYS use (orange grips).
Hell, even a 16oz dead blow and some acid brushes from Harbor Freight would be okey-dokey. :)

Happy Santa-ing.

Most on my post have probably been over in the sticker swap thread, so sitckers/decals and banners are cool with me.

It seems like I now have a growing bottle opener collection going too.

I am not a pro wrench turner, so I don't have or use many truck tools. I try to use quality tools that I can afford.

I am a truck driver by profession so I like Kenwoth or Peterbilt but drive a Freightliner, lol.

I like NHL hockey (Capitals and Flyers) and I like NHRA Drag Racing.

I drive a 2001 Jeep Cherokee so Jeep stuff is cool.

Honestly anything that someones gives me I will appreciate and try to use.

Oh yeah knives and fire are cool too, lol. And stuff that blows up, you might not be able to ship something like explosives so thats cool, I understand.

Thank You to the folks that started this, and Thank You to my future Santa.

I'm an aspiring Blacksmith & would love anything related. I'm also a Tig welding student, love old tools and just about anything handmade.
I don't have much yet, so I'd really appreciate whatever you could spare.
Thanks again.

Happy Holidays everybody.
