I had a Snap-on screwdriver that had the handle bored off kilter; after the guy replaced the shank, I said - "hey look, the new shank is bent too."![]()
I had the same with a brand new 3/8"-drive 4mm hex bit, i looked at it and the insert was in pissed, the next week i asked my Snap-on man to replace it, he put in a new insert and it was the same. I got him to open a new 3/8" set and give me a perfect one.![]()
That's one of the reasons why people won't shop with me anymore, either. =)Yeah ... I always have the tool truck dealers look at me funny because I'm always inspecting the tool closely and looking for defects before I walk away from the truck.![]()
