On that topic, Mav; is that pipe wrench under 6"? If so please post it there!
It's listed as a 6" on the side of it. Soaking in my evaporust vat at the moment, I'll check it with a tape in a few hours.

Picked up this little guy at an auction this morning for $10. It's a US made Craftsman model 506-51801, weighs about 17 pounds with 3 1/2" jaws on a swivel base. It needs to be cleaned up a bit but the jaws align perfectly and it operates smoothly. Everything I could find online, including here in the GJ suggests it was made by Columbian in the mid 60's.
I only spend $27 on everything so all is good in my universe. It was in the high 40's today thus the flee market. I'm ready for spring to get its **** here.
That's a nice vise, I have refurbed/sold a few and have a couple I kept. Check out the Vise thread here for lots of others in various color combinations!
Let's see the kennedy box.
at the bucket and coffee can O' tools.
The cost of living must be really low out there. Post up some pics of the adapter, it does look like a ratcheting adapter. Nice! Which flea market are you going to? Only one I knew of was New Castle.
That be it. It was at 60% selling capacity today. The back lot was still a mud pit.
TMT, O man as soon as I saw that box I knew it came from a body shop. I pity you having to clean that up. BTDT, no fun. Looks like some good stuff otherwise though. That water trough was a nice find, hope it fits something common.
. Most bodymen treat their toolboxes like red headed stepchildren.I always wanted to start a thread about "The Bodyshop Toolboxes of GJ", but it would probably upset too many on the site. Most bodymen treat their toolboxes like red headed stepchildren.
Seriously though, my main box came out of a guys garage that did body work. It was a fantastic deal I guess, but looking back not sure if I would do it again. Might as well just mix flour and Elmers glue then slather the box with it. I wish you the best with that project, I've found a clay bar work pretty well but even then it is lots of aggravating and time consuming work.
If you can get the crud and rust off, and get some paint on it, its a decent, if small box. Specialty tool of some sort. I keep all the air brush and related stuff in my 3 drawer carry sized ParkIThe box is a crappy PARK Model 86676, but it has some cool patina![]()

Nice! I was out there around 11:00. Picked up the square, monkey wrench, clamps, and a few saw sets there.
.I just went back to look and saw this comment. Patina? Me thinks somebody has been smoking the ebay pipe. What does the inside look like?
Nice scores all!
And Toomany, Park didn't build too bad of a box. I wouldn't have called it "crappy"... Crapped on maybeIf you can get the crud and rust off, and get some paint on it, its a decent, if small box. Specialty tool of some sort. I keep all the air brush and related stuff in my 3 drawer carry sized ParkI
Bluebolt, something is missing in that long story. hmmm; tip of my tongue...
GOT IT!
NO PICS!
Come on, don't hold back...
No yard sales, but hit the local pawn shop, and picked up a couple of things.

1/2" Craftsman USA ratchet, a couple of random USA 1/2" sockets to help fill in some gaps on the socket rack, and a Snap-On panel removal tool.
$10.
My first post at GJ!
These are my finds so far in 2014. I began at the beginning of january doing an overhaul of the garage. Mostly work on cars, trucks, boat motors, and small engines/machines for my business. It was time to upgrade some things!
First buy was a Snap on rolling toolbox that matches the smaller top box I got from my late grandpa. He would have been proud of the yard sale price I paid: $80

Needed even more room and found this old Kennedy tool box at the flea market. It had all kinds of chisels, tap and dies, drill bits and random other stuff in every drawer. It's a little rough but only cost me $8.

There was a duffle bag full of 50+ pounds of sockets at a pawn shop. I start to dig through it and the guy says "I'll take $40 for all those junk sockets." The first one I saw was that big 1 and 7/16 snap on socket and I said sold. After sorting out a ton of junk I'm left with this, lots of snap on, SK, proto, old craftsman, etc. Still going through it but there's a ton of 1/2 inch drive stuff I needed and probably a few sets.
