Been a while since I could get to any garage sales - been too cold or snow-covered here.
Last weekend, snagged these items:
3 copies of Home Shop Machinist from the late 1980s, VG condition. FREE
Craftsman brace, a little chrome missing but works 100%, $5
bag of new cotter pins, $1
hand marking punch with carbide tip, $5, I know it's a bit much for a used tool but I really needed one

First one I've seen for sale around here. Guy must have gone on a shipping spree at Sears in the 70s, there was a made in the US 5" vise for $35 and a 1/4" block grinder for $25. Passed on both since I already had one of each.

And unusual lathe! Metal cutting, but almost a wood working level of design!
That Proto came out freakin sweet!!!
