Nah, theres a thread i made about how much of an *** our local rep is. So i pay thousands on their online store, each wrench set bought was around
$220

Think i actually joined in on that one about my so dealer skipping 2 weeks, and our solus update.
Forgot about your thread Diesel.

What did this 129 deal consist of? Details
Tell us more about the 129 deal...

My rep has 5 tool set/packages come in a week that are promo buys. Last weeks was some flank drive wrenches, this week was 1/4 drive ratchet and socket(not premo tooth count). Your reps don't have it going?

May be a regional thing going i guess. But is he just pushing stock, or discouting it like it's a promo buy dodge?

what was the price on the bogo pry bars and hammer?

He got me to buy them for 150. Started at 190, he knew I was iffy on getting them and he said he hadn't sold anything today. I've gotten quite a few deals from him. He's able to cut some really awesome deals. Easily the best Snap-On guy I've ever dealt with. I love the hammer so far. Haven't really gotten yo use mine much, but I've used another guys a few times and it's nice.

I like them angled hose crimp pliers tech89 got from matco. I haven't seen angled ones in person. I could sure use them.

They are really nice when you need them. 25 for the set. Not bad.

Gearwrench 850-series XL Gearbox ratcheting wrenches in 16, 18, 21mm sizes.

Face and back sides:

DSC_3573.jpg DSC_3574.jpg

The play in the mechanism is typical GW--not very impressive. The reverse drag is nice and light though.

DSC_3576.jpg DSC_3577.jpg

Not very happy about the chamfering/beveling. The 16mm is just acceptable, less so for the 18mm, but the 21mm is excessive.

Not the greatest shot for comparing beam thickness but it gives you an idea...

How is it? I've yet to find an LED work light that I like better that a florescent drop cord. I'd love to find a rechargeable LED that lights as well as it does.

It is the brightest cordless light I have ever used. Only thing it's missing is a magnet to hold it in place while working. But it's available separately.

Yeah I never understood why they bevel areas like that. I've ground down e-torx sockets before because they have so much beveling

Kept stumbling across varying sizes of torx and e-torx bolts in newer cars. Picked up this set on sale for $35 (reg $70). Sure it's not Snap On but the quality of these is pretty damn nice - esp. considering how often they'll be used (hobbyist/dyi'er).

Damn, that's not a terrible looking set. Just tried looking it up, and it doesn't look like it's available in the states.

I'm trying to grow from a tire tech to something better at work; hopefully this will help. Shipped so quick from ToolTopia, ordered it Saturday morning and it was delivered this morning.

Also paid off my box (SO Classic 96) last week, so I bought a vice and some scrap MDF. We somehow don't have a vice in my 12-bay shop..... So I also bought a bike lock and ghetto-fabbed up a lock for the vice.

After 5 years of living and working in them, I finally bought a new set of Redbacks.

Also picked the ol' lady up a pair for work (Meat Cutter), as her Doc Martins were killing her feet and she would get blood into her socks through the tongue. Tiniest damn pair I've ever seen
