Good prices, too bad I have those linesmans already. I use them quite a bit. That crimper has been super handy.

I bought a half dozen or so different Knipex tools when Lowes was clearing them out. I think I paid between $9 - $12 bucks a piece for everything. Also, Amazon had the mini-bolt cutters cheap last year.

I bought the 4-in-1 Electricians multi-tool for I think $9.99 at Lowes, I just bought it because it was cheap, and thought I would just throw it in my toolbox and never use it.

That 4-in-1 tool is my go-to tool, I use it all the time for wiring work. The three stripping holes are razor sharp, and strip wire like butter. They are also very hard, and after tons of wire stripping, are still sharp as the day I bought them. I love that little tool. It's amazing how strong it is, since it is fairly small and thin.

The Knipex mini-bolt cutters will cut a nail like it is a stick of warm butter.

If you want Knipex, you might be better off using CamelCamelCamel on Amazon, and striking when the price drops. These Woot deals don't seem all that great. If you can wait, Amazon at the right time might be better. Also, you would save 5 bucks shipping.

Another option for people who want some nice tools but not at these prices, even on sale so much, is this thread here:

Klein association US made linesmans, big diagonal cutters, nice long nose pliers, some wire strippers on closeout from Cripes on ebay. Note, one wire stripper is Taiwan coo. You can get 4 sets of the 9" linesman for 1 of these Knipex ones and US made. - Paul

I have those. They are just ok. Maybe my expectations are too high, but they seem to really struggle with 1/4 all-thread.

i mainly want them for cutting down m6 bolts and cables, the videos ive seen on youtube show 1/4 being cut with ease :/ maybe yours are duff?

Oh wow, this is still live. I always assumed Woot was a one-day thing.

Is there a minimum for that coupon? It's telling me:

Whoops! That coupon code didn't work

oh yeah, found it...$25 minimum. Now I need a $3 filler...

They have an Gearwrench SAE tap/die set that seems like a good deal if they aren't lying about the original price: http://tools.woot.com/offers/gearwrench-65-piece-large-tap-and-die-sae-set-2

Coupon dead for me as well. Slickdeals.net peeps also reporting dead deal. Too bad as that coupon put me over the top to order. Now I get to save my nickels for something else.
