I am in need of a battery operated hacksaw or sawzall.... I have a Makita but it is heavy and bulky and the battery is getting very weak... I am also using it mainly for 1/2 and 3/4" EMT so the full size sawzall is very bulky. I am looking at this kit HERE I also have a Bosch 18v Drill and Impact kit I have had for about 3 years. It has been VERY good to me other than batteries needing replacing so now I have 4 batteries. I am looking at selling all of what I have or just keeping it at home for projects here. What are your folk thoughts? I like the more complete line of options for the Milwaukee stuff and am going to pull the trigger on something tomorrow. My other option is just getting a smaller kit like THIS and using it when in the field. I do machine repair, diagnostics, installation, and removal. I also do a lot of electrical and pipe fitting. We offer a full line of industrial service so I need to carry enough stuff with me to be prepared for most anything. That is why I am leaning towards the Milwaukee route....
And it's my only commonly used brushed tool... aside from that only my dremel-y-thing, shop vac, and radio aren't brushless.
