Beautiful, thoughtful build! It looks like you've got things pretty much done. I've just one question for you to ponder. Now that it is built, is there anything that you would have done differently? Sometimes I realize only after the fact that I could have designed a project better/cheaper/more efficiently.lol
I have given that a bit of thought as, while I have no plans to build another shop, I'm sure I will at some point.
So far my change list includes:
1. make the garage a few feet wider
2. a few outlets are not positioned optimally
3. I'd ignore the "expert electrician" and go with my original plan for lighting as the front of the garage is a tad dim
4. I'd move the light under the stairs as the exhaust from the boiler shades it
5. the drop down extension cords are too close to the centre (but easily moved)
6. I'd make the stem wall a foot taller as it gets a little wet in the area where the shop sits (but no water has ever leaked in).
Other than that, I'm very happy. That being said, I have not completely set it up yet nor done any major projects so we'll have to see how it works out once put to the test.
Marc
p.s. and no, I would not reduce the number of outlets.
