Bought the Hex Sockets for the extended 3/16"... which once I got home and tried to use it wouldn't fit in the screw. Turns out it is out of spec by 0.012 of an inch, which is just enough that it won't fit in the screw that I needed it to.

I love playing the Sears SYW game!

Had this set years ago, but the ratchets kept auto reversing- tried every trick except clipping the spring with no luck.

The sockets/extensions were great and busted some seriously stuck stuff without any signs of wear.

Being able to pop the lid off to fit in the drawers was nice, but then I had to store it.

I tried out both ratchets this weekend and they seem to work well. Ive also had the 1/4 version for a while now with no issues.

Regardless, this set is a huge improvement over the hodgepodge of Craftsman I had been using.

Past couple days. Needed a few ratchet upgrades, I got the Gray 1/2 and 3/8 flex to add to the one 3/8 I got last week. That Proto 1/4 is sweet!

Hey nice ratchets! How are the Grays treating you? I recently got Gray ball end hex keys (SAE & Metric).

:canada:

I love em, I recently found a place locally that stocks Gray stuff so naturally I found it as an excuse to replace some of my cheaper tools haha.

There is more to it but corporate snap in keeps jerking me around on the delivery date for the powercab. On a side note the rock and roll truck was following my s.o. Rep when he delivered this with his personal enclosed trailer. that rock and roll truck was sweet!

Proto J9648C "screwdriver" at 27" long, just came from Epsteins over the weekend. Also got a set of Pratt-Read black pearl screwdrivers to replace mangled Jonnesway set at work.

Not from Epstein, I got this Wright #405 set of 1/2 drive SAE hex bit sockets.

Lastly, picked up a set #158 of Nu-Thred thread files, made in USA, off the 'bay. Has SAE, metric, and pipe threads as well.

Posted in another thread, but these came in today.

Tested the 1/2" drive already and it's a good piece.

Is that the 3430?

Nice! There's been a lot of talk here about those as of late!

Those are supposedly the smallest of their kind. They are less than $35 from Epsteins I believe and well worth it if you use it.

How much and from where !?!

Ok I'm sold. Gonna pick one up next time I go to epsteins.

Yep...the 3430.

I didnt order from Epsteins cause I was only ordering this one item - I went eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/141275485790?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

$30.99 with free shipping - 6 left.

Ordered some parts from the Kubota dealer unfortunately they ordered the wrong parts so I bought this magnetic tray instead. The 5 position snap on screwdriver was a pawn shop find for $35.

Picked this up last week, buy the pliers and get the coffee mug free, but talked him into giving me the thermos, and then a shirt for the girlfriend, and finally a black hard handle screw driver handle cause I told him I was wanting to make a shift knob out of one.

Not really a tool but some staples for my air staple gun. 3000 staples and nails for 4 euros, so I bought 2 sets. You never know when the next time they will have them in stock.

June2012079_zps2bea1171.jpg~c200

Like these 2 packs of staples were not enough (3000 pieces per pack) I went out this morning and picked up another 3 more packs. I think they should last me a life time, 5 packs = 15000 staples/nails

God please help me

Just found these in my mailbox a couple of minutes ago. Like one set wasn't enough I ordered two. Now to find room in my toolbox for them and a reason to use them.

Not snap on but a few things I ordered after joining the forum. I still have a second set of the craftsman wrenches in route, as well as 5 channellock adjustable wrenches and a few other items. I'm cleaning out a bunch of junky tools, adding to the home box and then building a couple of car sets.

at least our hoarding has a use, not like the tv shows where someone is hoarding old soup cans for 30 years
