Where is the sale on the site?

There is no "sale", Refer to the post below
THREE THINGS YOU MUST DO TO REAP THE FULL REWARDS OF EPSTEIN'S DAY!

"I pity the fool that does not follow these three steps." - Mr T.

1. :Mr.T:Write in the comments section when you check out: -> "Epstein's day" or something along those lines, with anything that you'd like to tell us regarding box art requests, etc. This is just to distinguish between Epstein's Day orders and regular orders.

2. :Mr.T:Let us know your Garagejournal "handle", your GJ user name. For me it would be "Jsackin". You will be glad you did.

3. :Mr.T:Epstein's Day begins at midnight Central standard time for those of you late night shoppers.

Ok, now here is the super special offer for Epstein's Day 2014. A number of manufacturers have stepped up and offered up some pretty cool stuff as giveaways.

#1. If you buy a Channellock item, you will get a Channellock give away as long as they last. Channellock has given us stickers, and hats as well as 23 pairs of pliers. Also, we have some Channellock t-shirts left over from last year (not too many). So all of those items are fair game to be thrown in the order. I will post a pic of the hats when they come in.

#2. If you buy a Wright item, you will get a Wright pocket screwdriver for as long as they last. Wright gave us 100 of them. We also have some Wright shirts left over from last year, but not too many.

#3. There will be some Armstrong t-shirts (Not here yet, but I'll throw up a pic if they come in time). Buy an Armstrong item, get an Armstrong t-shirt for as long as they last. 30 or so shirts. Note: Gotta buy some Armstrong stuff in the Catalog. Armstrong closeouts don't qualify.

#4. Occidental is giving away a B5057 pocket caddy with every order of a full Occidental tool bag setup. The pocket caddy is just like the picture, except it's black and no tools come with it.

If you are just looking for an Occidental bag or a belt, Occidental is throwing in a hammer holder as well. (Long as they last!)

#5. Epstein's is going to throw in a US made (Modern Abrasives) dual grit sharpening puck on every order. There is also a number of other misc shirts, hats, and other stuff that we'll be throwing in, but not anything we have good quantities in. You don't have to do anything to get the puck, except of course:

:Mr.T: write "Epstein's Day" in the comments section of your order
:Mr.T: let us know your GJ username. (Also if you are wanting a shirt, let us know size)
:Mr.T: Place your order after midnight central time.

thanks again for all your support!

27507 for me. Had to get to Atlanta and run the Peachtree this morning so I missed out on the early submit. At the end of the day-a little of this and a little of that.

Where is the sale on the site?

There isn't a sale per se. This isn't about scoring a good deal although you may get some swag or a hand drawn picture on your box.

This day is about supporting a small US business that sells mostly US made stuff. You know, kind on the lines of ask not what they can do for you but, what you can do for them one day a year.:beer:

Order #27557, late to the game but still in. Moving stinks, but at least I was able to get my (secure) internet connection up and running before the deadline.

Thank you Epstein's for upholding what I value!

I'm in at the 11th hour with some Milton and Channel Lock too! Plus some other stuff I needed - some drill bits and saw blades.

Does anyone else spend an hour adding stuff, removing stuff, then re-adding it to their cart? I swear I could spend the years' allowance if I wasn't careful!

Just snuck my order in after procrastinating for almost 24 hours. I couldn't order all the cool stuff I wanted, so I avoided facing that reality for the entire day. I went with three USA made funnels and a cobalt drill bit set (13 piece I think) from Norseman.

Order #27571.

I think we are looking at around 200 orders if I understand the numbers correctly from this thread! I hope it's true.

Yes, well over 200 orders this year. Thanks again guys. Once again your overwhelming support is humbling. Everyone at Epstein's really appreciates what you've done here. We'll be hard at work Saturday printing all the orders out and starting to sort through them.

You guys are awesome!

That is so great! I can't recall how many orders we've produced in previous years, but 200+ for one day sounds pretty darn good!

Oh and hey, don't ship Bard's order yet! I am waiting on a small item from Snap-on that I ordered for him, then I'll send his tools to you.

Who knows?
Well, I'm sorta in. Order number 27578.
Don't know if I qualify for the goodies. My computer decided to crash on me right before I went to work.

If Jori sees fit to include me that'd be awesome, if not, no biggie. I still had fun watching you fellas make your choices and being able to take part in supporting a family owned, US supporting business. I look forward to putting the tools I ordered to good use.

I believe I ordered:
10 piece Norseman screw/bolt extractor set.
Battery pliers (I wanted the Channellock, but had to order another brand as I couldn't add them to the cart.)
A 1" Wilde pull scraper that looks VERY usefull.
And Channellock XLT series 8" long nose pliers.

I wanted to order some Wilde pry bars as well, but they'll have to wait until next order. It's a question of what tools do I WANT vs. what tools do I NEED.

I ordered a 29pc HSS set of those Norseman bits a while back (maybe last Epstein's day?). Really nice drill bits!

...hope you're stocked up on packing tape!

...and sharpies!

(although I failed to ask for box art... Jori, feel free to add some box art depicting sweet peas and honey buns if you want)

Anyone already order the (Modern Abrasives) dual grit sharpening puck before? (how do you like it)
I can't wait to get it for free!!
I have a couple of them, and they're great. They're perfect for touching up axes and hatchets out in the woods, and I love the groove for keeping my fingers off of the blade. Plus, it's WAY cheaper then my Gransfors stone, and made in the USA.
