The angle wrench is cool. Never seen one like that. Good score!
Yesterday's haul, all USA: (1) SK diamond complete set, with my favorite SK logo; (1) small Vise-Grip; (1) Wiss Inlaid 22w 12" upholstery shears, which are quite beefy, and apparently sell for $40 new still to this day; (1) SO sgd480a long flat from 1993; (1) Irwin or Klein flat (not sure); and (1) Warner wallpaper scraper. $12

$50. They had the boxes marked $20, but when I brought it up they claimed it was for the box only and nothing inside (and then yelled at the person to go down there and empty the boxes out). So, in rough order:
Craftsman cantilever box
SAE craftsman offset wrench set (6 pc)
Sears USA compression tester (new)
Craftsman ratcheting chain wrench
Two new craftsman Torx sockets
PowrKraft swivel socket
PowrKraft (Wright?) 3/8 ratchet
1/4 craftsman breaker
Three craftsman flare wrenches
Two superwrenches
Two larger SAE craftsman crowsfeet and one Proto
Vise grips (I needed the 6LN). The sheetmetal set is weird that it doesn't have a release lever, but it doesn't look like it should?
Die handle, unmarked (probably Ace since I found some Ace dies laying around)
Plmvb war finish 1/4 ratchet, breaker, and four sockets
Two older pair of pliers
Three DOE craftsman SAE wrenches
1 Snap-On srewdriver
What the hell is going on around Detroit and Dearborn? You guys are picking up loads every week!
Thanks man, there was another guy who has loads of carry boxes with tools in them all. He had 2 26 wide ones but they where on the rougher side.Taumac, that's the box I saw yesterday but yours is in pristine condition compared to it.
Shadow, real cool box, ***** they changed prices on you but you still did well!

I always grab flares when they're a buck or two. I put a couple of them out when I'm having a fire in the back yard.

3 banks of Kennedy #5D storage cabinets (full of various items) - $40/ea at an Estate sale. I don't think they would have lasted until Sunday when prices dropped in half. Each bank has 5ea 11" X 14" drawers with dividers:

Dave, those Kennedy's are more than I would have wanted to pay, but I think I would have shelled out the cash for the as well, rather than waiting and hoping they'd still be there.![]()
How much was the watchmakers cabinet, if you don't mind me asking?
I've got a bucket full of flares, and on the 4th of July I'l use one of the longer ones for lighting the fireworks. Reliable and easy, but DON"T drip any on yourself!

I just had to get them. The "other" vultures were circling and ready to swoop if I hadn't. I'm sure they would have been gone before half price day.

Dedicated shopping.Hard work and a flashlight!!!
Damn, Dave...cabinet overload!
I went to three sales today. The first had no tools to speak of, the second had piles of rusty junk strewn out on the garage floor and I did not spot anything worth buying![]()
