Looks familiar... :)

Be sure to inspect the feed mechanism. The weak link on the Cin / Bic 3' machines is they can feed past the end of the quill rack. If that happens, all hell breaks loose inside the machine.

Oh... there's a grease zerk on the back side of the arm on the motor side of the column. It greases the reduction gear to the arm shaft. It probably hasn't been greased since it was new. Shooting grease in there will calm the howl. ;)

Almost cried when I saw one of those being scrapped after the big tornado in Alabama. In the frenzy to get cleaned up and get insurance payments, a lot of good stuff went to the scrapper.

Thank you for this info. Im probably going to do a light restoration on this and manuals are available on line in pdf.

Its In really good shape save a couple of holes in the table. Even if I have to spend a little money on it its still a good deal.

Wow, just when you thought you've seen it all... I've never heard of a radial arm drill. Youtube shows some huge ones. Definitely badass. One more thing for me to look out for!

How much does that weigh? And what kind of tooling is required for something like that, what kind of chuck fits it?

It uses a #5 Morse taper. I think it weighs about 3.5 tons.

15,300 lbs. It sucked to move it last time, but it's amazingly powerful.

I guess we will be moving it at least one more time. He put it on eBay since we don't have a real need for it and it takes up a bunch of room.
