Picked up this old school Cincinnati radial arm drill for a mere $850.00. Go Me.
Jon, my boy---
You could have gotten a BIG one!!!
That thing is a beast...
A hole poker el supremo!!!
Ya Dun Gud, Bubba!!!
Looks familiar...
Be sure to inspect the feed mechanism. The weak link on the Cin / Bic 3' machines is they can feed past the end of the quill rack. If that happens, all hell breaks loose inside the machine.
Oh... there's a grease zerk on the back side of the arm on the motor side of the column. It greases the reduction gear to the arm shaft. It probably hasn't been greased since it was new. Shooting grease in there will calm the howl.![]()
What the hell are you going to do with it?![]()
Yes it is. I can't find out much info on this model of drill press. Might have to start my own thread about it.looks like an Arboga. There stout machines. Very robust.

That is realy a smaller one. I would like to find one like that. The realy big ones are alot easyer to find but it takes a crane to move them.
Wow, just when you thought you've seen it all... I've never heard of a radial arm drill. Youtube shows some huge ones. Definitely badass. One more thing for me to look out for!
How much does that weigh? And what kind of tooling is required for something like that, what kind of chuck fits it?
This thing weighs a ton. I haven't taken it off the trailer.
Here is a pic of ours.
