So I do a decent amount of tracing wires and I am always stabling my finger with those pointed testers. I want something that can reach in and single out a wire and pierce through the insulation for testing purposes.
I found these which come in an 11" and 15". Looking at the pictures it has more then just one needle that pierces the insulation. They must be very tiny so I wonder how strong they are. The notes listed say the tip is very fragile, and to not let it hang by its own weight off a wire as that could damage the tip. My question is has any one used these models and is it worth the 60-70 bucks?
