Yes indeed. I own 6 of the line and cant wait to get my hands on one of those lightsaber lights. All of the tools in the 14.4 line are just out of this world IMO.

do you have either the 3/8 or 1/4 impact wrench or both? i already have the 18v 3/8 lithium gun and the 7.2v screwgun that i use with a adapter for 1/4 sockets. i am upgrading the screwgun to the 14v becasue i also have the 14v ratchet but im not sure if i should spend the money on the 14v 3/8 or 1/4 guns. im kinda thinking about getting the 1/4 and a set of 1/4 swivels for tight spots but i dunno. i think getting the 3/8 would be kinda redundant since i have the 18v but im looking for some opinions

I have the 3/8" lithium impact 7.2v gun and 1/4" 14.4v ratchet. That combo works great for me. Just some input. I also have the heat gun the screw gun and the 18v 1/2" impact. I had the 18v 3/8" impact but i would always use it and end up using the mg325 with it so it didn't seem worth keeping. I traded even up for a new techwrench. Well kind of, i only gave him two batteries and the gun. I sold the charger and swivel impacts (i got swivel impacts free during a promo) on eBay. I actually ended up getting the tech wrench at like $75 off.

I know one of my dealers here called snap-on and threw a fit about the guy that posted the pictures last year....Within a few hours the thread went down....

I don't get why the dealers get so butthurt that we know stuff from the conference. It's not like it's really a secret. Just like pictures of a new body style of a car a year or so before it comes out.

I don't think they care if new item pics come out, its inevitable and kind of the point of the show. Some of the photos last year contained promo pricing though which Snap-On seems to get sensitive about. I know they weren't happy when we had threads broadcasting B1G1 and the $100 deals before they went live here too, that also seems to of ended.

Back on topic, anyone get a photo of the information on the epiq cart? Noticed it had a sign to the right of it.

altmech.... that 1/4" gun has some pretty good power like 60ftlbs IIRC. i think thats way more than the screw gun and doubling up on 3/8th's is a little to much, kinda like i have the 7.2 screw gun and Milwaukee hex impact 90% of the time only the milwaukee gets used

I have the 3/8 impact ct761, both ratchets ctr725/ctr761,screwgun cts761, temp gun ctg761, light ctl761.

The 3/8 impact is awesome, not as powerful as an 18v or air but super powerful for its small comfy and BALANCED size. The toggle trigger is awesome. I just reach for my air gun if this does not do the job. I can use the 14.4 for 90% of my needs as a multi brand motorcycle/atv/watercraft mechanic.

Same with the ratchets, the milwaukee and IR units do not compare. The trigger control is incredible and the tool has a great grip and is compact and balanced. I have both because the tools are so bitchen and is a timesaver due to the need for both 1/4 and 3/8 without the use of adaptors. Air ratchets are obsolete.

The screwgun 761 again super compact light and powerful and again the toggle trigger puts this tool in a league of its own. This unit makes working on the entire line of Stihl equipment a speedy breeze.

The temp gun is great for t-shooting multiple cyl and multiple carb engines.

I am super happy I bought the snap on stuff. I am going to get the 14.4 drill and a qwik connect 14.4 impact to replace my Makita LXT18v brushless hammer drill and impact driver (better suited for home use) .

I WANT A 14.4 LIGHTSABER ASAP.

That Epiq cart is awesome.

Well the conference is over now and I never heard back again on the 722 so I'm guessing that is a bad sign. Bummer :(

My dealer picked up a tool bench, we are in discussion about it becoming mine. He has a week to change the color, I want black.

X2 on the bench details. Fingers crossed it's the type I'm hoping it is. Missed out ordering one before they discontinued the ones with the stainless top and wide drawer.

Saw your bench build thread. looks great! I was going to try something similar with a snap on stainless top i got for a song a little while back. Only issue is that the top is 72" x 24" (from a KRA) and snap on doesn't sell a 24" deep full length drawer for a 72" box. Closest is a KRL22 but that drawer is only a little over 50". I'm using the top for a bench anyways, i just wish I could find a drawer that would work with it.
ah well, here's hoping they've decided it was a bad idea to discontinue that bench!

Why not put the 50" Drawer, and one of the narrow bank drawers...heck at that point, I'd look into shoehorning a complete "side cab" under there. This is the hard part about backing into a design based on parts you got. I know the feeling, I designed mine based around the EPIQ drawer I scored :D Originally I was going to duplicate the SO design, and go with a 72x24 like you, but now that i've got mine in the works, I'm happy I went with the 36" Depth.

May just put the drawer in the middle and fill in the sides or do 2 pedestals if I can find a deal on a couple of side cabs. In no rush either way but if I found out they're making those tables again, ill just get one if those and use the top somewhere else.
Agreed on the depth thing. 24" deep is adequate in most cases but 30" makes more sense if you have the room

I'll admit, I was super ***** to get one when I found out about them last year, BUT alas, they were already gone the way of the do-do bird. Hindsight being 20/20, I dunno if I'd go ahead and buy one today. IMHO 16 gauge is kinda light for a workbench. the only thing 16 gauge on mine is the sheet metal panels I had bent this AM which will hold the slides, and the only reason I went 16ga is the slides are punched and designed to clip into 16ga.
What I'm getting at is HEAVY is better when it comes to benches. While no doubt the Snappy is a very nice bench, doubt it holds a candle to some of the homemade benches I've seen on here and out in the field.

no doubt heavy is better and i'm good to go with a heavy bench i can pound, jump, and drive on  . I just wanted a workspace that I could pull a stool up to, put a computer on and maybe do some lighter tasks. Basically a tall heavier than normal duty desk. The fact that it would match my toolbox and carts and had some storage was the icing on the cake.
