I've got two of those. Great old boxes.
I have 2 of them on my bench. 1 with small tools and other with misc stuff.Thanks...
Now that I dug it out, I'll stick it in the garage. There are a few misc tools in there that I forgot about. Thanks to GJ it'll serve a purpose again[emoji106]
I agree there are great little boxes and not that expensive when you find them.Love those boxes. Ever thought about retro painting your HF 44 to match? I think that would be a pretty cool looking shop.

Found this one locally, a very low mileage GRAY from the eighties, so the seller sez. Looks very much like a Kennedy with a Gray sticker. $20 brought it home.

Outlaw..... You have to find one of these, I'm not sure why they didn't catch on. Its a great design, I planned on selling it eventually but it is just..... Practical? I love simplicity, and snap on nailed it with this box.

That's a nice gift you gave him. That older set looks pretty sweet there.I dont think I've posted these yet. The first Craftsman I don't have a date for, but I'm gonna guess late 60's? A buddy that owns a muffler shop was bitchin' that he needed more drawer space. Now, Franks a good guy and has done several things like replacing my muffler pipes from the tip back to the Flowmaster (which he installed 12 years ago before I knew him) at no charge, welded some boxes for me, at no charge, things like that, now it was my chance to pay him back. So, this is what I found and this is what I did with it.
This is a set I picked up months ago. The top is a '49 3 drawer, which I know from restoring another just like it a couple of years ago. Notice the difference in shade on the cover door. Gives me a good idea of the original color. This job will have to wait till the move is over and I'm in my new garage.

Gertsner is in pretty decent shape except 2 drawers are MIA. anybody here make them or do i need to learn how or rob a bank to buy a couple from Gertsner? these old wood boxes can become addicting as can the old steel ones. go figure??
I use the same toolbox at work as crashbumper's. I couldn't believe it when i saw the picture!! My home box is a work in progress. I rescued it from the scrap yard.

I'm not sure how "vintage" vintage is.. so I'll post a few of my hip tool boxes and see what you all think..
First is a Blue Grass by Belknap..
Second is a semi vintage Craftsman.. Handle is solid aluminum. Haven't figured out what to do with this particular one yet. I had one just like this from the late 1970s, that my dad "requisitioned" when I was away at college..
Both of these were purchased at an auction last year, cleaned up and put back to active duty..
