Diypolebarns.com. Great customer service so far......oh they forgot my post rot protectors. That I paid $500 for and called and emailed to make sure it got put on the truck. They are trying to make it better. Yeah...I took a week off work and so did my FIL. I can't wait for them to come from PA or Ohio. Poles are going in. Let's just say. I'm a little bit pissed. We will see how that turns out. Spend almost 13k and I expect to get it right.

3 man crew. Including my 65 year old FIL it's a swamp out there. But we are pushing on.

Looking good so far. I am amazed you are able to work. We have had over 7 inches of rain in the past few days at the cabin in hyde county. Not sure at the river house but its probably close to it. Did you check with that building supply place in belhaven for the post rot protectors? Or possibly someone in washington? Id rather go ahead an purchase them and let the pole barn place give you a credit or something.

Thanks. Yes we got a lot of rain. Dug a few ditches to help. Those post rot are sold by home depot only. Also these are 3 ply poles which are special order. Bakers in belhaven is a great last minute store but dang they are steep lol. Man I've been cussing this rain all week. Oh well got a 5 days to work and going to put all I can in. That's all I can do. Wish I would of budget in some day laborers ha ha.

They are a plastic sleeve material. No they sent me a refund as it was too late to get them. I just left TX after over 8 years. It needs the rain. That's for sure.

Really **** that the weather is like this.... I know you won't be able to do much Jordan....y'all got more rain than we did....I was gonna finish my ridge vents and then go to the beach ...my wife and friend from Canada are heading to the beach for a week and my brother and family are coming from Canada for a week at the beach... Hell of a nice weather day to start a vacation.

LOL, It didn't rain much over here. Sad, I'll have to cut what grass didn't finish getting mowed yesterday. I was hoping for an easy day today. There's one thing about all this rain down at the build site, after all this rain, things should make the dirt that's been disturbed settle pretty well before you pour concrete.
