I have nothing to add or subtract to the group buy effort, but just wanted to say that 2-1/2 years in, with my Bendpak XPR10A, and it's the least thing I have to worry about in the shop. Completely trouble-free (and I am not affiliated with Bendpak or any of their dealers/installers in any way).
On the lift's first anniversary (June 2013) I had the same installer come back and do a once-over inspection (needed only a minor adjustment on the equalization cables) and he gave it a clean bill of health. I don't remember what he charged me, but I'm thinking it was either $60 or $75 (this also included inspecting an older__January 2006__Eagle floorplate lift I had them install about a month after the BP; I brought this one down with me from OH when I moved but it was still packed in a container when the new BP was installed).
I can't comment about BP's customer service, because quite honestly, I have never needed any__that's the observation I wanted to make; when you pick a good product, customer service is a moot point. I'd much rather have a good trouble-free product, than to have bend over-backwards customer service people that you're calling too often. Clearly, there is nothing wrong with having both!
For perspective, the BP lift is in daily operation for my home-based BMW service business, so it's cycled up & down numerous times a day, with zero complaints. The Eagle is in my personal (attached) garage, and might go up/down once or twice a month (or less).
Congratulations to all of you that eventually take delivery of your Bendpak, as I predict you're going to love it!
