230V 16A Start/Stop switch wiring

I purchased a start/stop switch for my chop saw. It's got 4 wires coming out of each fastener on the back side. It has one black and one white fastener. I'm no electrician so my question is do I just wire all 4 wires together and attach to the positive and negative wires of my electric cord? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Um no, that switch switches two phases and the neutral. Get an electrician to do it if you don't understand it.

Three phases, not two. And no neutral switching.

It's a common thing for the neutral to be blue and the active to be brown and black in the UK for permanent circuit wiring

If it's a cord, however, it's not always the case. Blue can be used for the hot.

It has a green with a yellow stripe, a brown, black and blue wire coming out of both connectors.

I'm from Oklahoma. It's just a regular 220/230 plug.

There's about 6 to 8 different type/amp of 250V sockets/plugs, so regular doesn't mean much.

It's just a 10/3 three prong plug/cord. The cord says 30amp on it.

It's a Rutland Brand. They discontinued it and don't make replacement parts.
