I received two tiles today that I requested to see how they lock together. The samples sent are diamond plate. I don't know what all colors that he has, as I have to send an e-mail. The tiles lock together tight, and from standing on them and tapping my foot, it seems like they could have that little clacky sound that some talk about, but with the way the tiles are molded, and I imagine most are like this, they have a very slight bow in them, hence when walking on them the bow goes down to contact the concrete. Not a big deal in my mind.
They appear to be rather well molded. The outer edge of the tiles are .113 in thickness, the ribs underneath are .057 in thickness, there is gaps molded in that are .080 deep x .375 wide to allow for air or water, and the complete tile itself is 1/2" thick.
I don't know if it will show up, but the diamonds are 2" center to center.
I don't know how these will compare to other tiles out there on the market. I would be interested in knowing. I am going to find out what other colors that they have in stock that they are selling. The only thing.......they are plastic, and they look like plastic. They have that certain sheen to them that plastic has. It may dull down after a period of time, which to me would look a little better, but for what it is.....it's plastic. But with that, do do my house garage, I am looking at a few thousand less than what it would cost me to have epoxy put down.
Any ways.....here are some pics.
