My latest haul, picked up the Vaughn California Framer for $15 on sale, the Empire level was also $15, and the Stanley torpedo level was like $4, all at Walmart. The Bernzomatic torch/soldering iron came from Ace a couple days ago (FYI: I wouldn't buy one, it won't stay lit above half power).

I disagree about the bernzomatic. I don't use it as a soldering gun though. I use it with the heat gun attachment which is awesome or just as a mini torch which I also find to be awesome. I use it daily.

It could just be mine. If you turn it above half power the flame begins to pulse and then will flame out. It does work fine at the halfway setting or lower though. It's not a big deal for $11 anyway.

More goodies today.

I use the **** out of the 250mm cobra so I bought another one with the newer style comfort grips. Also got the hose clamp pliers.

Reinstegg (sp?) punches, pb Swiss punches, Starrett punches, 10lb 24" indestructible sledge.

Just got my NOS vintage vise-grips. Even the boxes are heavy duty!

AHAH Spoon, believe it!
It 'a good feeling to be satisfied with their tools is real? :)
The ratchet of my set I have not used it, but it was enough to put some socket and run it to listen to beautiful music.
My ratchet has 60 teeth, I do not know if you write well in English.
It 'a nice set of 3/8 !!!

My next purchase will be a fine tooth Stahlwille. This particular quick-release I pictured has I think 36 teeth? Something like that. Handle is very comfy, and the selector lever is recessed. Feels great in my hands, the grip has just a tad more girth than a Hazet.

I am a big fan of comfort grips in general.

My $14 vise from HD. 4" Irwin. That's packing grease on it...not rust.

They work well holding things you need to weld together, drill a hole in, and many other odd situations. They are great pliers.

Pure Petersen awesomeness!

Thanks for sharing the knowledge, I had seen them before in the store but couldn't figure out what they are for, much appreciated.

i've been slowly chipping away at some of the stuff i have in my amazon wishlist, and UPS just dropped these German made Bessey snips off about 5 minutes ago. i was going to buy the straight forward and left and right offset ones, but i figured i'd buy one to see how i liked it before investing in the set. havent used them yet, but just handling them, the quality seems ridiculously nice compared to any of the other snips i have , (old us wiss, import wiss, some no names).

The haul today...

I used to have the Mac Tools labeled version of that gun. Works damn good. Only issue I had with it is... The tip would burn out very fast (around 30days in a professional, use it all day, every day environment) and they were very expensive to replace (~$50!) because the tip and element is a one piece assembly.

I talked to a rep from Wall Lenk last year and he told me they have updated the TE assembly and that they last much longer now. I have been considering buying another one since.

Sears sell that one under their own label; picked one up a while back for about $40 on sale.

Another indestructible sledge, rennsteig automatic center punch, soft vise jaws, and a few different anti fog safety glasses.

After 4 weeks, my dealer finaly got all the pieces in for the 1/2" impact socket deal. $475.00. Cleaned him out of the last of his stubby screwdrivers as well. Damn good day.:thumbup:
