Got my large ratchet today. So I have the ratchet and pliers. I am looking for the giant wrench and then the giant pencil. If anyone has one to sell PM me. My driver told me there is a giant instinct screwdriver floating around, but I can't confirm that.

What do you plan on doing with them?

I just ... had to.

Leanna's Tape Dispenser Oct 20 2014 (1).jpg

Between the 5 1/2" heel, LimeLight green and Panther Pink it was the perfect workbench addition for the diehard chick Mopar fan. My masking tape fits in it too. It was even 20% off and set me back a whoppin' three bucks.

I know some of you are thinking "I can see why ......."

But I also betcha I'm the only one on GJ who has one. :D Neener neener LOL!!

Definitely say it suits you

Oh wow!

I had no idea anything like those Kokens existed! I can easily think of about a dozen times those would have been handy.

Gonna have to snag a set. Did you get them from Frankstools? Or somewhere else?

They make mini extensions that put a magnet up into the socket to hold fasteners in place. Just saying.

How did you get that? My driver wouldn't sell me the large pliers. But I want them as well as the ratchet.

Love mine too. The cordless ratchet and impact driver have saved me days of turning wrenches at this point

Thinking about picking up some m18 tools soon. Tried the impact driver out at lowes or Home Depot the other day and that thing was a beast

9circle drum brake pliers, overall seem decent haven't tried them out yet and the fit and finish isnt amazing but they should be a bit better than using long nose pliers. Hopefully

The instructions on the bottom made me laugh....

Hows the finish on those wrenches?

Yeah I'm curious aswell. I would like some angle wrenches but can't justify snap on's price for them when I may only use them once in a blue moon

Get the XC batteries for that impact. I was using mine all day at work and the bigger batteries make a world of difference in power and run time. That 3/8" had no problem keeping up with all my coworkers' 18v impact drivers, and I'd only have to charge the batteries once a week.

Had one of these from beta for a while and they just sent me the release version. I can read my DMM 100 meters away, control the function, and lots more that I'll probably not encounter lol. Handy as hell tho hard to see how I did so much troubleshooting without wireless capability.

new picks and broke down and bought a set of metric wrenches

I bought a tekton set. Finish is decent for the awesome price. They seem to work well also. They are very thin which can be good or bad depending on what you are doing. I mostly use them for hydraulic lines.

Have a set of ATD hydraulic wrenchs and crows feet for the shop and they are decent quality as well. I wouldn't be afraid of their angle wrench set.

Here is a pic of one set of them.

Here they are next to my other wrenchs. I have both the metric and sae sets.

View media item 44277Some Gedore sockets in 3/8" and 1/2" that were cheap on ebay, they are fairly random assortment but I have very little 1/2" at this point, a pair os small Gedore circlip pliers and an Armstron 1/4" breaker bar.

Those deep well (bi-hexagon) Gedore look good.
For standard height 1/2" you should check out the Gedore USA web site for the clearance items. They have a bunch of them dirt cheap.

Nice Agilent DMM. Is that the one with the OLED screen? If so, any issues with it?

What make are those picks between the Matco and Snappy picks? They look handy.

This is my new bench grinder.
Makita, made god knows where, even at the back is written Japan, i am sure is not Japan, maybe China.
The grinder is ok, no vibrations, good manufacturing quality, the lights are useful and is very-very silent.
Is very heavy (~20kgs), full metal, just a few things made from plastic.

Not a single problem with the screen. I'm coming up on 3 years of use.

The picks with the metal handle are just some craftsman with the grip slid off. The red scribe is hf and the metal colored scribe is matco.
