no i got mine last week also. its the correct sticker the post is rated for 9000 lbs. but your arms are only rated for 7000 lbs. so go with the 7000 rating not the 9000. i have a question for you? i did the bleeding and yet when i put my car on the lift and raise it up it was jerky. so i stop but now it wouldnt go down. i raise it more to clear the locks but still not going down. with nothing on the lift it was going up and down no problem.

Ah, that makes sense. I haven't unwrapped the legs yet to see any load ratings they have.
I'm still a few weeks from getting it installed so I'm afraid I can't help with any of the bleeding problems.
I will say, one of my posts was leaking during shipment. Hopefully it doesn't when I fill it up.

My buddy ordered a 10,000 and had the 9000lb sticker. They claim its a accident. He told me he's pretty disappointed in it and has been in talks with the owner about no directions and it being scratched to hell. He has only put the posts up so far and said its gonna be a pain to put together

Please keep us in the loop as far as how these lifts work for you. I am thinking about ordering one this winter instead of a MaxJax....not sure at this point. How long did it take you to receive the lift after you paid for it?

Will do, I'll probably start a thread for the install.

It was 7 weeks from payment to it making it to the local shipping depot, so a bit longer than the 4-6 weeks I was quoted upon order (or the 3-5 the current website lists). I was out of town when they wanted to make a delivery so I had them hold it for pickup for a few days. It was shipped via Roadrunner and there were no issues or damage with them.

Did an inventory of everything and I don't seem to be missing anything. Motor on my pump is 220V instead of the advertised 110V, but not a big deal. It seems like the 220V was a $90 upgrade that I got for free. I have to wire up a circuit anyways since it would require 30A for 110V, so an extra 220V outlet in the garage won't hurt anything. Came with 3 different sets of pad height adapters (2", 4", 6" I think?). They don't seem to have a good handle on their kitting though, as I got what seems like a lot of extras. Couple extra Powers anchors and a set of 20 3/4" bolts for them (instead of 10). Also got two longer 3/4" bolts that I don't know what they go to. Also got a full set of slightly longer anchors that I don't know what they are. Anyone else get these also?

Any insight as to what anchors I should use with a 5" pad? It seems like most people don't have good luck with the Powers anchors.

About 7 weeks it was back order. But to answer your question yes yes and yes this lift is awesome. Max jax can't even come close. This lift is the same lift in workshops. Just made shorter. I had my car on it and was able to go under it and I'm 5'8 my brother is 6' and no problem with him. You can raise the lift from any height with max jax lol you only have low and hi lol junk. Worth every penny and it's going to pay for itself

Alxdgr8 you will need them two anchors the box only come with 8 as you will need 10 total. So that's correct. I used the powers but warning make sure the holes you drill line up perfect with the lift. Cause it's a nightmare trying to ream the base holes the plate is so thick

Did you receive the other set of anchors? I can't seem to figure out what brand they are.
And with the Powers, I have the 10 anchors and 10 bolts, but the two longer bolts that aren't fully threaded are the mystery ones. Did you get those too?

Chops101 I like the way you mount the pump to the post can you give details on how you fab that. I would like to do the same.also I was wondering? If I run new lines to get the hoses up to my rafters to the other post were the pumps mount would that effect the lift? I'm trying to stop running over the line

Alright, another question.

How are the 2.5" bolts supposed to work with this kit? First, I can see why they sent me twice as many, at least 6 of them had manufacturing defects in the threads to where they wouldn't even thread into the anchors.

Next, the Powers anchors have less than 1.5" of thread and the base plate is only 1/2" thick. With the bolt bottomed out in the anchor, you'd need a stack of washers for this to work.

Under 1.2" of thread in the anchors:

Just over 1/2" for the base plate:

So, I'd say I need something closer to 1.75" bolts not 2.5" that I was given.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm pretty sure they gave me the right bolts as 2.5" is what's listed in the manual.

Also, for those that mention to use the base as a guide for the holes, did you drill a 3/4" pilot hole through the base? You can't use the base as a guide with a 1" bit as the holes are just larger than 3/4".

Actually, what Nathan from national auto tools told me whas that all the components are from their 9000lb lift but the posts are cut down some which de-rates the lift to 7000lbs. He specifically said the arms were 9000lb arms.

I used a 5/8" bit for pilot holes because I had it already.

I used powersert epoxy anchors. They take about 1.5" bolts so I purchased 2" grade 8 bolts from the local tractor supply. Worked great.

Minimum embedment is 3 3/16" which is the overall length of that anchor. So if it is flush then the minimum has been met. The bolts they supply are just too long because they send the bolts that come with the anchors. The anchor maker doesn't know what the application is.

http://www.powers.com/pdfs/mechanical/6312SD.pdf

And the National Auto Tools installation powerpoint installs them flush.

Your anchors should be in deeper and not flush.
