me: I am wondering why the website is showing around 80 percent of the power tools as being out of stock online. How is the 2 tiered power tool promotion suppose to work if none of the second tier is available?
Phillip D.: Hi, I can take a look at a few of them to check the availability, but when we have sales and specials the items some times sell out fast. What is the model number of one of them?
me: I don't think you understand the holiday promotion. You pick one of 14 combo kit skus (12 of them are in stock) and then get 50-100-150 dollars off an additional tool but every one shows out of stock. even the corded tools

Phillip D.: I do, but I would need the model number to look at the item. If they are out of stock then you have to wait until they are back in stock to order them. I can check on a date if you supply the model number.
Phillip D.: I am sorry, they are all out of stock. I can check on a few of them to see when they will be back in stock. But the promotion is only valid while the items are in stock.
me: there's no way all of these skus went out of stock in one day (the promotion started today) when half of them aren't even affiliated with the promotion (corded tools)
Phillip D.: I am sorry, this is the first I have seen of the promotion. I cannot call Milwuakee as they are not open right now. They are out of stock, I cant do anything at this hour.
me: also, none of the skus show the store sku any more. only the internet number. even on items that I've seen in the store hours ago. they're all missing
Phillip D.: If you can give me a model number I can check and see if it is sold in store and has a store sku.

me: I know what it says. I'm letting you know that all of the items are saying this even if they are sold in store. I saw it 2 hours ago. I'm letting you know the website is messed up so maybe you can let a supervisor or someone know.
Phillip D.: I have no access to store systems. According to what I have it is online only. Store inventory and online inventory are completely separate. There is nothing I can do right now. I cannot call the store or the vendor, both are closed.
Phillip D.: I can check and see if we have a date when the item should be back in stock online if you would like.
