Cheapest place for Milwaukee M18 2763 high torque impact?

Good morning guys

I'm in the market for Milwaukee's 2763-22 high torque impact wrench/kit, and thought I'd see if you guys know of any cheaper places to get it. I checked the CPOMilwaukee site and found this for a brand new one:

Every Milwaukee tool I've purchased in the past has been a refurb, but due to the sheer cost of this one, I am thinking the extra warranty (5 years vs. 1 year) may be worth the extra $80 to me. I've only purchased < $100 M12 tools so far.. this will be my first M18 one

Any other sites I can get this cheaper or any coupons that I can use to bring the price down? I'll pay $429 if I have to, just thought there might be a cheaper way. There seem to be some bargain hunters around here for sure

Any recommendations on going with the lower cost one with less warranty or the brand new one?

I'm also looking at a rubber boot for it, 49-16-2763

You may want to consider bare tool, it's $219 and it works really well with the lighter battery, it may be worth the trouble to piece together what you need.

I may have to look into that (piecing it together). Originally I was thinking if I bought the whole "kit" this time I would end up with two of their largest batteries that I could then use when buying bare tools in the future.. but I'll just have to see how it all adds up

I do already have a charger that will work with the M18 batteries, so it is def. something to consider. I just have to make sure I can get the case too. I hate not having cases for tools like this

edit: So, it'd basically be $25 for the case (eBay), $219 for the tool and $99 for a 3Ah battery, so that's basically $350 total but would only leave me with one battery. Refurb "bare" tool would knock $50 off

Milwaukee's 5 year tool warranty & 3 year battery warranty is from the date of purchase (from an AUTHORIZED distributor) OR the date of manufacturer.

If you buy some discount model from Joe's Tools, LLC & it is a year old already (even though it is "new") & Joe's isnt an "Authorized Retailer", then you just lost a year of your warranty period on each item.

Yes, I like having the cases. I am garageless at the moment, so it's a lot easier to transport everything in cases (for me anyways).

I just realized that about zoro too.. so I'm probably going to pass on them just based on that. If it were a $50 tool I wouldn't care, but at close to $400, it better have a full 5 year warranty

Guess I'll keep my eyes open for some deals over the next week or so and see if I can find something better than the normal $420 CPOmilwaukee price

I like it so far and haven't found anything that it won't remove/loosen. It's turning out to be a major addiction though as I've found the Milwaukee tools to be so well made and love their performance. I started out with just their M12 Fuel 3/8" and M18 Fuel compact 3/8" impact wrenches and now I've got a good collection going. I'm just happy that I didn't have an existing large cordless collection of tools that I would have had to sell off first.

My story is similar. I picked up an M12 cordless ratchet a while back as I didn't want to pay the price snap on wanted for theirs, and have loved it. I've put way, way more force on it than it's rated for and so far it's still holding up fine. Also got a little m12 1/4 impact driver and have been quite impressed with it too

I just sold my snap on ct4410a and 4850.. they didn't have the oomph that they should have had (or perhaps ONCE had) and I've been so happy with the M12 line I decided I'd give the M18 impact a shot. I had something the other day I was working on where that little m12 impact driver did just as good as the snap on 3/8 impact, so that pretty much sealed their fate

I didn't have a collection beforehand either, so I guess I'm stuck with Milwaukee for a while now

I buy entirely too much from Amazon and have always had good luck with their return and especially their replacement policy when I've received stuff with issues.

I finally got fed up with looking and just bought the whole thing in pieces from a combination of several stores. Ended up somewhere in the mid 300's for the impact, two 4 Ah batteries, charger, case and rubber boot. Worked out to about the same price as the refurb kit (which was out of stock at the moment) with a boot added

Patience would have gotten me a better price I imagine (or more batteries), but at this point I was tired of looking and just pieced it together the cheapest way I could come up with

Update on this thing: blows my old snap on out of the water. To be fair, the snap on one was pretty old and had been used for a lot of years. I am super impressed but wish I had bought at least one smaller battery. It was heavier than I thought under a car with extensions and sockets on the end in weird angles. Did a great job though.

I took the transmission/rear cradle/torque tube out of a newer corvette today and I was more worried about this thing snapping bolts or something than I was about whether it had enough power. It didn't hesitate on a single thing, although there wasn't anything stupid tight to be fair

I am happy with it so far. I really need to get a smaller 3/8 one to go along with it

lots of tempting deals right now, i may wait to see what gets thrown out on black friday and cyber monday before deciding though.

so far CPO offers the 2797-22 kit with a 169 add-on (grinder to be more specific)

home depot is doing 2797-22 kit with a 150 credit on other tools... if you do it online you can get almost any other tools, and just pay a little extra on top for one like the high torque impact or fuel circular saw.

I like TOOLUP. Basically I think Milwaukee sort of sets the price and all of the online dealers normally charge the same for it. I like toolup as they are close to me (Las Vegas) and it only takes a day for FEDEX ground to get my package from there to Phoenix. Since this tool cost more than $199 shipping is free.

I have this impact and it's truly scary. Not as powerful as my Nitrocat 1200K and 1250K but few things are. For a cordless it's truly amazing. Only ***** I have is the weight. I also have the previous non-fuel version of the Milwaukee cordless 1/2" impact and it's not quite as powerful, although still plenty potent, and it's smaller and lighter. I actually use that more often.

If you work in a tire store and you're using this all day it's going to kill you. If you're trying to tear apart a D-9 this will likely do it.

Im still a little worried in the back of my head that they will "fix the glitch" and force you to buy something $150 or higher in addition to the eligible kits before it will take the $150 off.
