Mavawreck, awesome hatchet. I tend to grab them when I find them cheap. They have a fun medieval feel.

Made in Japan, so not associated with the Klan!. a 1" Adjustable clamp and 1" & 2" Bink & Cotton clamps, 1/2" 1/2" 8 pt SK socket, and a craftsman swivel 9/16:

What? Did you want a price?

Thanks msgtsmithret, I picked it up at an estate sale of an old man who worked at Sears for a number of years. Are you retired from the service?
Of course, that way we'll be completely envious![]()
BC: sorry to hear your hunting over at the neighbor's house and garage is at it's end, but looks like you found some interesting things again. whether you got it for free or gave a nice donation to the widow you probably saved a lot of cool stuff for you or whoever can use those things.

bigcaddy! what the ****!
at first i was gonna say you got a bunch or cool stuff. than i was gonna make some joke about the skoal canister case, but......
what is up w/ that crazy bad *** swing arm tool?
my 1st thought was it was an old dentists piece.
but w/ other old machinists stuff in the lot i'm sure it had a purpose.
i bet you could make a bunch of $ if you sold/marketed as steampunk.
yeah, you ****![]()
Tons of wood shaping dado cutters, at least 60 pairs
He's not done. He's just trying to convince himself not to go back and search for all the goodies he missed. He'll fail. He'll keep going back until the walls are scrubbed clean.
He'll be haunted by that "just one more thing" that he passed on. It will swim in his nightmares until he can't take it anymore and will be arrested at 3am rooting around in the garage like a lunatic stalker talking to himself about finding "my precious".

Mark my words, we haven't seen the last post from that treasure trove yet.![]()

Not tools but I couldn"t pass up some classic art for the garage wall.
Hit two sales today on the affluent side of town. One was an estate that was right on Lake St.Clair and the property bordered the house/grounds of Edsel & Elenanor Ford.
Spent less than a $100 and ended up with what I believe to be some rare/unique Plomb/Ranger AT items. spanner wrenches, extensions, combo wrenches etc. along with some SK sockets, Bonney extension,Craftsman sockets etc and a big piece of brass/bronze decoration.
Second sale had a few tools and after some digging came up with these:
PowrKraft metric socket set, looks complete, some interesting pliers, channelocks,Vaco screwdrivers ,Armstrong wrenches. This sale was a little easier on the wallet at under $50.

Rained hard, so zero TOO',s but one of two estate sales got me this for $3.
Smallest Gas (Utica) and battery (Blue Bird) pliers I've seen, Pexto 6" lineman's, Crescent tool (Jamestown)slip joint Pliers, and the dykes tricked me: I saw three interconnected diamonds and grabbed them. after cleaning there were "K"'s inside each diamond!Made in Japan, so not associated with the Klan!. a 1" Adjustable clamp and 1" & 2" Bink & Cotton clamps, 1/2" 1/2" 8 pt SK socket, and a craftsman swivel 9/16:

Hit 2 sales today. A garage sale run by two old ladies. I picked up a tag for $2.00 - pic below.
The second sale was a washout - nothing I needed and prices too high.
