IMO $500-$700 more is a lot
I hear you... just trying to help your cause.
Hopefully they reconsider their price.

The thing about group buys is that a lot of the Interested buyers want to hold out until the price gets cheaper. However, the price won't get cheaper until all of those buyers Commit tooI see there is 33 interested now. 6 committed. I bet all those 33 would commit if the price was down at around that $1K mark. That would be $33K sale as of right now + any extra items people buy at the same time. Would be a sweet sale if I were the seller. Unless the true cost of these things is $999. <grin>
Anyway, hope all that get in to buy them have fun with them. Nice tool for sure.

Unfortunately I had to pull my interest. With my Firebird part of the exhaust would get trapped between the subframes and the lift, and it hangs too low in the first place. I could add blocks on top of the lift, but I would be forced to drive the car up on ramps first. Just not convenient enough, although I really like the design.
If I found this lift last year (before I started looking for a house with a garage) I would have bought it and made it work when I was still living at my parents house. It would have been great to keep in the shed and drag it out only when needed (no garage). But now I have a garage and can use a 'full sized' lift.
I actually feel bad that I'm not taking advantage of the group buy and hope everyone gets a great buy on it.
i dont see where its 1000
the group buy price i see is 21-100 $1,275.00
and hell for a few buck more, id rather have a 2 post 9k lift
Your missing the point of this lift. The low cost is one thing. but the portability is something you wont get with that 9k 2 post lift. Lots of guys are wanting to take this to the track with them, or for guys that know they will be moving a lot, this just makes more sense. Though its still just a little too much $$$ for me to justify. The lowest price they got was 1275.00.
This thing is pretty sweet for what it is, but even at 1275 the price is too high for what it is. The most I'd be willing to pay for this thing is 1 grand, and even then I think that's too much for what it is. If it was reasonably priced I'd jump on it all day long.

BTW, the Moving Casters are now in a Group Buy also!!!
Come on guys, the deal is good once we get the numbers up.
Anybody like a group buy on different cross members? I know I would.

It doesnt matter how many more you get, it isnt getting any cheaper than $1275...thats still just too much for what it is, IMO. Sorry man. He needs to be at least $300 cheaper to get me interested.
Good to hear vette-kid...you must feel good being the 15th or 20th person that has called the rest of us who are buying I don't know....stupid, dumb, retarded? What word would you like to use for us???
Have fun with your car ramps...
Guys, its been said enough....if you don't have anything positive to add...move on, it isn't going to get any cheaper just because one more guy says it should be cheaper.

I just registered and have put myself on the EZ Lift buy "interested" list been considering this for a while .....I have seen lots of info on its use on smaller cars but nothing on something like a 66 Chevelle , clutch and trans maintenance /removal etcetc ...... what size spacer bar would make sense for this size a car ??
but each one is good at what it does.
