It needs it.
But it's going to be sweet when it's done...

Oh my!
That looks like something you would see sitting left abandoned in an old government facility 50+ years ago.
I want to see before / after pic's on this one.
Cheers
Jim

Didn't start the day out with the intention hitting any sales, was planning on four wheeler riding, but my buddy canceled, right after I had loaded up and was on the way.
So what to do with all this new free time? Search the CL adds!
The add was selling Machinest tools, so that was all I needed, very basic add.
It was basically a estate sale, less the people!
On to the stuff.
I was looking at a box of spray cans, lube, etc., told me to,take whatever I wanted. I told them I'd take whatever they had and they started loading in my truck while I was making a deal on the tools.
They just about filled the back of my truck. Only had one box of old non usable cans, the rest I put away. Most of the spray paint is Rustoelum and full cans.
I started filling a box with hand tools. There was a lot of drill bits, all in Huot indexes. I ended up with two 115 piece combo boxes, fractional, letter and number bits, all USA.
A handful of needle nose pliers, Made in Dewitt vice grips, 2 20" Bessy welding clamps, older CM logo 1/2" torque wrench, Indestro adjustable, Channeloks, Diamond pliers, putty knifes, and some misc.
Nice drawer organizer with decent hardware, brown and sharpe combo square.
Oh, I almost forgot, a 4" Wilton and a 1/2 HP 6" CM 257 series block grinder with brand new wheels, a green and a brown.
All for $80, all I had.
I'm going back tomorrow after I scrape some more cash up. We just paid property taxes and a insurance, so cash is limited.

Congrats man.Stopped by the scrap yard yesterday and they had this 3-1/2" Columbian 203-1/2. Cost was $12.60 at $0.35 per lb. I was surprised at how good a condition it is in. Just needs cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint. About three weeks ago, I was at an auction and picked up this 5" Craftsman 506-51811. Has a very small chip on the dynamic. Got it and the 34" x 36" x 1/4" steel plate it was bolted to for $5 dollars. No one else bid on it.

Major suckage on these 2 vices and the $80 wilton... You guys are killing it on vices and I can't find one here in the north west to save my life![]()

Yeah, but for all those scores, very few post about the "near misses", and I've had three misses in less than a week, and no vise score to show for it...![]()
Yeah rarely do we post about misses.

Damn, way to go cbacres!
Man you guys are really making some great scores for the end of the year! Outstanding scores all around with some suckage in there as well!

Yeah we should probably have that discussion about who fires the 2015 thread up on New Years eve...
Hmmm, I think I nominate Nine!![]()
