Very nice build. I too like to neatly run all my wiring, regardless of the application. I guess it's O.C.D.
I have two questions about your man door installs.
You said outward swinging doors are harder to get into. Why?
And installed flat bag stock behind or in front of the door frame where the stricken slides through? Is is just screwed into/between the framing? That's sounds like a good idea.
Thanks
Can't they just pop the pins out of the hinges and open them from the swing side?
Could but I drilled them and put spring pins. So you can still get them off...just slot more more, plus with the alarm on any hammering on door causes glass break to trip
A good thunder will trip it!
This is such a great looking garage!!
It's obviously tough and expensive to come up with a really good looking structure and I think you nailed it!!
Here's the vac installed in the shed.
Very handy for cleaning cars or any mess in garage!
Very nice garage. Interesting that code allows the wiring to be out on the surface but I like it for serviceability.
Now when are you gonna get off your **** and finish that window trim?? Hmmm???

Spring pins are drilled and inserted through the hinge bolt at the bottom? I know HD and Lowes only sell the antitheft door hinges now. I will have to check that out in the hardware section.
Did you order the outward swinging doors as a pre hung package?
Very cool garage! I have never seen a garage done to look this cool!

can I get some info on your wide-flange beam?
I'm in the phase of head scratching over a 23' span, might want to pick up 700-1000lb and all I have up there are engineered floor joists (big no-no)
It's 5-1/4 x 8-1/4
