Haven't even used this one yet, just wanted it while it was on special. (£120 off)

Should get some use when i overhaul my van's engine, looking forward to no having to set up an angle gauge 500 times!

Same reason I bought mine. On Mercedes so many nuts and bolts are torque and then angle. I was tired of using the gauge all the fcking time.

The nice thing about this is that it remembers the angle settings and the last torque.

You are going to like it. My opinion is it is night and day versus the previous techangle.

I dont have pictures yet but I got bored and went to the hardware store to look around and picked up a set of Hanson spiral flute extractors to replace what I broke through the year, bought Channellock 440 pliers and a 1 5/16 USA made Craftsman RP wrench.

Had a gift card for sears so I thought I would grab the nicest set of bolt outs that sears sells. I forget who makes these but they are USA made and seem nice as hell

How does the chrome Knipex compare to the standard finish? I'm just curious if there's a reason why you got a pair of those.

The finish is as good or a little bit better than the standard one. Tho I haven't used it yet so I can't compare durability, but with kinpex track record, I'm sure it will hold up just fine. The reason was I didn't exactly directly choose it myself, it was a gift. But I would have gotten a chrome one anyways because I wanted something different and wanted to an example of Kinpex's chrome pliers.

Those tools look sweet!

Out of curiosity are you buying them all for electrical work?

3/4" drive metric Cman sockets, SK small and medium hose clamps, 3/8 SK Palm ratchet and 1/2" drive SK shallow metric 6 point sockets. All USA. I noticed that the medium SK hose clamp is identical to a Cman one that I already had. I am not sure of the manufacturer but it is obviously the same one.

Here is my contribution to this long thread. Ken
Note, bought these from Advanced Auto for 59.95. This was a 16 piece set. The very next day at Sears they had a 20 piece set for the same price. Gear Wrench.

Finally picked up some USA Roto ratchets. SK hard handle 3/8" from a member here, and a 1/4" Snap-On hard handle from eBay.
Picture1015_zpsd03ae04e.jpg

The SK is awesome, the Snappy had a floppy head, which then led me to notice the tension screw head was stripped and it was rusted in place. It'll be a bit of a headache to remove, but I'll live.

Hi first post!

I bought this combo from Home Depot yesterday. A "drill driver" and an impact. I'll probably use them for valve cover bolts, splash shields etc. (I'm a mechanic).

I like how the battery isn't a block on the bottom.

I upgraded my Harbor Freight die grinder (cutoff wheel) to a snap-on PT400. This thing is a beast!

I also got a Snap-on 7-piece long tamper resistance Torx set, 8mm long triple square bit, S&H slapping file, two Martin dollies, a long Durablock, and a long Eastwood flexible sanding block. I forgot to snag a picture, but I also picked up a Snap-on Pozidriv #2 screwdriver for my work toolbox.

I think I can say that my screwdriver drawer is complete! I have a SGD146 cabinet screwdriver on order to replace the one I took to work, but that's it. I have no need or desire for any more.
