Got sick and tired of 1/4" driver bits all over the place.

Always up for making some more.
The following is the layout:
Hex-30
Torx/Phillips/Straight bits: 60 each
Square bits: 30
SAE / Metric: 15 each

Y'all make an offer. Holder is 12/12" and that size of two color sheet is $15.

If you order and ship to me, I'll cut 'em for $5+ship. I think that's fair?

That's extremely fair, and if I had the drawer space I'd be down.

Any chance to change labels?

I don't use straight drivers.

A blank for that row would be great.

that is definitely a marketable item... would be really nice if that will hang on a wall (<-patent pending) can you feather it in for the new guy on exactly what "HDPE" is?

High Density Polyethelene. It's very "drillable" so you could put it on a pegboard or use screws at your leisure.

Maybe a version for 1/4" and 1/2" router bits in the future?

just PM me what you want. How many holes, spacing, labels, etc. Circles are easy!

THAT'S SWEEEET!. Count me in for one just like you have if possible. I was just recently hating on my collection of 1/4" bits and was thinking about ordering several different types of holders but that would work perfect. PM headed your way boss.

Off the top of my head I'd say High Density Polyethylene. Could be wrong, but it sounds good, right?

That is correct. The multi color that he used is what they use on playgrounds. It is just cutting board material.

Pretty nice. Is the fit tight enough for "snap in"? Generally, my level of organization implodes right about the time I drop something or knock it off the shelf :)

Not quite. Cutting boards are made out of UHMW.

Ultra High Molecular Weight - polyethylene.

Not quite.... 90% of plastic cutting boards are textured HDPE. There would be no reason to use UHMW as a cutting board. It is slicker but costs 2-3 times what HDPE costs in the same thickness. I know just a tad about plastics, it's what I do for a living. Yes, they do make UHMW cutting boards but it's not a common item.

No room in my box, but put a hole in it and hang it on the wall.

I'm frankly not sure which is correct but I do know they have an "FDA grade" board. Couldn't tell you whether it's HDPE or UHMW 'cuz, frankly, I don't make cutting boards:lol:

Well that was interesting! Thanks for all the orders gents. I frankly wasn't expecting that when I sat down to solve my problem! Apparently, it's a common one. When your material arrives I'll get them turned around and shipped pronto.

So here's a question: If I did a socket tray(s), do y'all prefer them to fit snug or just a bit loose, or does it really matter? Do you prefer the bottom to have a protrusion that fits the drive hole? I'm coming up with a couple designs and want to do something people want, that is useful, but that isn't really out there now. Once done I'll create a thread in the classifieds.

HDPE is the same stuff that milk jugs are made of. Of course that's much thinner, but you get the idea of material.

Well, the first test of a socket tray similar to the bit tray is cutting now. This is for the 15 piece SK 1/2" drive deep and regular. Cut a test hole and the tolerances are very tight but I personally like it that way.
