Is all their wrenches now made in taiwan? I have student discount im wondering If I should go to snap on?
There Mcxl line are great extra long Usa made (all current Usa made wrenches are rebranded Armstrong tools)

Ratcheting flex/box extra long (gearwrench makes them now too)
Green dead blow hammers (rebranded trusty cook beware make sure to get made in Usa not import version they sell both)

Your safest bet would be to look at only combination wrenches ( non ratcheting ) with opti-torque open end
All there standard combination wrenches are all us to my knowledge but that might change soon
And all there ratchets are Armstrong but only all metal ones are marked Usa since handle is made overseas

Also keep in mind Matco only makes toolboxes!!! Every thing else in there catalog is rebranded
Yes, however Matco have "opti-torque" cut-outs on the open ends which works incredibly well. Most Armstrongs have standard open ends. Matco's combination wrenches is one of the better things they sell.
